Pricey but delicious quality food
Wonderful meal and friendly atmosphere.
SO DELICIOUS. Lobster ravioli is a must
Had not eaten at the Ivy on Robertson for a very long time. Used to love it when it opened years ago, but the food was just not very good and over priced as always. Did eat at the Ivy at the Shore about a year ago and the food was very good there.
Food portions were disappointing and not plated nicely - food appeared to be slopped on the plate-overpriced and environment is overrated!!!
It was a beautiful morning. The breakfast menu is overpriced but a great experience!
Old and dated - like the food. Absolutely mediocre
The place is beautiful but the food wasn’t what I was expecting, my boyfriend asked for a sea bass and wasn’t cooked well, they made him another one but he wasn’t hungry but the time they brought it back and I asked for a blossom zucchini and they were cold.
Went for Fathers Day. Very comfortable setting with good food and great service. Great for people watching.
Service was slow. Asked 3 times to receive items we ordered. Food was average.
Way over rated. Prices were outrageous. And for a high end restaurant the food was so so. And they forced my business associate who wasn’t hungry to order an entry or two appetizers. I’ve never heard of that for a high end restaurant. Pretty poor.
Way too pricey for what youre getting.
Great food and great service. The cobb salad I had was the best I have ever eaten. The staff were very friendly with a sense of humor. The outside tables were comfortable and the table was charming. Wasn't busy when I was there so it was quiet and you could have a nice conversation.
Have been to the Ivey many times and always enjoyed it. I do not drink so they’ve always offered me strawberry lemonade instead. On this occasion I was told they no longer gave that away that I could have all the champagne I wanted. I was offered the option to purchase a glass for $15.00 which I declined. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and grilled chicken. The pasta came in a huge dish and the portion was so small I had to share the chicken with my wife. I also feel like the server tampered with our dish because about an hour later my wife and I both had to go to our room we were so sick. I was told to call the owner if I had a complaint which I tried but of course they are never available. We will never return.
Great food, beautiful patio and fantastic service!
Impeccable service ! Beautiful ambiance ! Wonderful food ! Easy Valet parking! Roses, Roses EVERYWHERE !
Maybe our most favorite restaurant in the world. Special place.
This is always my happy place for special occasions. Your vodka gimlets are second to none.
Your menu needs to be worked on to bring it more up to date. It's very old fashioned and very, very expensive.
There should be more variey. I don't think the menu has changed for many, many years.
I still love the roses.
I’m all for trying wonderful expensive restaurants, however $35 for eggs and bacon is quite ridiculous.
This restaurant had an amazing crab salad. Great view and great for conversation.
Loved it! Absolutely perfect lunch!
Always a fun experience. Pricey but a great LA experience. Food and service are worth the price.
We sat inside and I really wanted to be seated outside but the wait was too long. The inside atmosphere was crowded and minimal bathrooms so there was always a line.
The service was excellent and the setting lovely. Tables are pretty crammed in there, so be prepared to get to know your neighbors! Overall, a nice experience at this well- known establishment. Quite pricey, but again, it’s all part of the experience!
In a word... awesome!
Good food, great service: unbeatable
Poor food & overrated, far better places to go within the area.
Excellent as usual! Those enchiladas are fire!
Overall, this experience was ok. We went bc this was our first time in LA and this restaurant is iconic. The food was fabulous but the service was poor. It was difficult to get his attention, he didn't pay attention to the fact that I do not eat seafood and all of his recommendations were around seafood (suggest better listening to the customers), and it was my sister's birthday which was noted 2+ weeks ago when I made the reservations. We were put in some back corner inside the restaurant where we couldn't see anything, and there was zero mention of it being her birthday, which was a milestone bday. I'm not looking for any free handouts, but considering we specifically came to this restaurant and the reservations was made specifically FOR a bday, seems like there should've been something mentioned. And as we're sitting there getting ready to review the desert menu, we see the celebration for another table so I"m assuming that's coming for her, and nothing at all. Again, ZERO MENTION. I was incredibly disappointed. Seemed like no respect for the customer who made the reservation considering the location and what was noted on the reservation, and then throughout the experience, the service was poor. I was disappointed but luckily the food was delicious so you will not be disappointed.
Loved it. Had a long lunch while visiting LA.
The Ivy has become not just a place to go and see and be seen, but a place you are treated
with respect and service top notch. I Have gone to the Ivy for years now, and it just gets better
each year, no small task, I understand it takes lots of work from the kitchen to the parking
valet. Care is taken to make Ivy goers feel comfortable and welcomed.
I can only hope the owners of the restaurant will keep going as long as they can. The Ivy without
a doubt is not just a restaurant but it is semi- hidden gem for people to go and be made to feel
special in he company of friends or family.
In a short way the Ivy is a restaurant that is one of the top restaurants in Los Angeles with a standard that all restaurants World Wide should strive for, "Simply The Best".
We were in LA for 5 days and this was my favorite restaurant we ate at.
The Ivy never fails. People watching for celebs is always an attraction but the service is always terrific and the ambiance the same. We always eat on the porch to enjoy the flowers. Casual enough if you choose although many people are in their evening clothes also.
As always the ivy was a delight! I had requested a 4 tip table outside & when our guest arrived solo, she lamented that she would love to sit inside instead- as the host handed her a” the usual” complimentary glass of bubbly, he pointed to a charming 3 too table by the roaring fire & our guest was enthralled!
The Ivy on Robertson is simply the best lunch spot in Beverly Hills, make that all of L.A.
Best food, atmosphere, color, energy and of course, people watching!
Great for family, date, or couples visiting.
The Ivy is a favorite food stop while visiting LA. The food is consistently good and service excellent!!
Wonderful service and even better cuisine! Always a treat!
This was my second time dining at The Ivy. It was Sunday brunch and my request to dine outdoors was accommodated. We were seated promptly after being served complimentary champagne. The ambience was wonderful (the flowers at each table are simply gorgeous) and the food was very good. However, the service left A LOT to be desired. I don't mind waiting for my food, but we sat and watched as people around us who had ordered their food after us were served while we just sat and waited....and waited....and waited. It would not have been so bad if they had at least brought over the beverages we ordered (juice and cappuccino) but we had to ask for these twice. Basically, we felt like we were being ignored. All in all, an enjoyable meal but also a very frustrating experience.
