The Ivy Tower Bridge
With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant offers guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
I booked Ivy Tower Bridge for a birthday brunch, the food was good, location is beautiful especially as we were seated in the middle of the Resturant and the view was stunning at night.
However the service was not great, they didn’t do anything out of the ordinary knowing it was a birthday booking.
Infact once the first round of food was served its like the staff forgot about our table, and service just went downhill from there. There’s a standard level of service you expect anywhere let alone from hosts at the “The Ivy” and it just was not met.
Had a very nice time food was good, price good, staff attentive enough.
Would definitely return.
Lovely restaurant, excellent location, excellent food, excellent service, we loved it.
What a brilliant night I had for my birthday. I have never been there before and the moment we walked in we were greeted with great service with a smile. Our waiter was lovely and made us laugh throughout the evening. Great food and reasonably priced and topped off with a mini birthday cake
Was disappointed. Starter was delicious, dessert was lovely but the main was not what I expected. I ordered a burger - no cheese so it came with cheese. Husband had finished his main before i got mine replaced & I found it really dry. I did complain & was not charged so it was sorted but I was not really happy about it! Also we had wine which they put on a sideboard & I had to wait for them to replenish our glasses, this I found strange & again was not really happy about as I like to monitor how much I have drunk by looking at the bottle. WE decided to deduct the service charge, although we did leave a tip but ended up getting the third degree from the manager which I felt was wrong
Service was slow. Had to keep chasing for drinks ordered.
Fabulous evening with friends - great service and beautiful location with stunning food, cocktails and wine! Slight critique would be shepherds pie portion was quite small for a main and a couple of the berry desserts were lacking in taste but overall a brilliant evening and I'd definitely go back
We had the best night at The Ivy Tower Bridge. The staff, the food and the view were all outstanding.
The staff went over and above for my friend with a gluten allergy.
We will certainly be back.
Fantastic value too.
We had some delays being seated so we weren’t off to a great start, but our waiter was so wonderful that he totally turned our experience around into a really enjoyable evening. He was especially lovely in his approach to our children.
Also great food, ambience and view.
Great table..great location...good overall experience
Amazing service, and lovely food. We went for our anniversary which I selected as our special occasion while booking online and the staff all congratulated us and knew we were there for a special occasion and treated us great
Fantastic location and excellent value . Good service too . Will definitely be back .
The food was nice but very underwhelming, was very standard food with no trimmings. You are definitely paying for the name of the place and the location.
Met a friend for lunch on Saturday 16th November 2019. Excellent table with views across the river. Staff were very attentive and food was enjoyable and reasonably priced for London. I would have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to others.
Nice ambience, waiting staff great although a bit slow with drinks and food. The restaurant was busy at the time though. A nice touch of a little cake for my husband’s birthday.
Too busy! Arrived in good time to have a couple of drinks before our meal but no seating room at the bar. Our table was booked for 7.45 but only after we had reminded a member of staff that we were still waiting to be seated we were finally shown to our table at 8.15. We were then given a wrong starter and then served someone else’s drinks. Such a shame as other Ivy restaurants we have eaten at have always been excellent in all respects.
Another lovely meal at The Ivy Tower Bridge. Our waiter was excellent and service great as usual. Even gave us a small celebration cake as we were celebrating four birthdays.
Table booked for three a couple of weeks ago. On arrival seated in a corner area on the bench seating that was evidently for two and even then it would be a squash. No room on the table for side side plates and trapped in the corner by the adjacent tables. Impossible to get to from the seating area without disturbing other diners. Complained to the waitress who couldn’t care less so paid for the beer that we had and left. Absolutely rubbish.
Great food and nice atmosphere.
Wonderful view, ambiance and food. Most convenient for the Bridge Theatre next door.
This was my second visit here and as the first time it didn't disappoint.
From front of house staff to waiters/waitresses everyone were very friendly and helpful.
The food was amazing.
The decor is chic and tasteful.
The views are fantastic. (We had a window seat)
I have already booked to go to the new St.Paul Ivy so hoping it's as good as this one.
I would definitely go here again. Perfect for a special occasion.
Good food and service, attentive staff and lovely location just by Tower Bridge.
food excellent, not so good being in the back room of the restaurant
All staff very welcoming and attentive. Waiter very helpful in explaining parts of the menu. Food was excellent with a wonderful ambience in the restaurant. There was a delay in the pudding arriving but the waiter was quick to apologise and explain what had happened. Great location with terrific views of Tower Bridge. Hopefully will return in the near future.
Very good restaurant. Great service lovely location. Food of good standard and good value for money.
Although we had a very enjoyable time and the food was very good indeed unfortunately there was a table of 4 next to us that were very rowdy !!! They had obviously been on the wine and were very annoyingly loud and swearing that spoiled it for us. The service we had was very good and attentive. The setting is just wonderful.
Lovely food and great attentive service from waiters - although this was mainly at the beginning, and were less attentive once we had finished our mains... (but thats the important bit right! Getting your food. Although we are usually in a rush to pay etc to get back to work for meetings etc.
Also, the lady who took our coats to hang up in the entrance - put them all on the same hanger, it was pouring with rain, so putting coats on top of eachother will surely get the inside of some coats wet! (Minor issue but it was absolutely pouring and cold outside!)
Would definately come again - really lovely food and atmosphere - nice that its so busy!
Warm welcome. Attentive service, but never rushed duting a three hour lunch.
Always love going here, food is great! Ambience is great! Such a classy setting. Had a wonderful lunch with my S/O
The service was excellent. Food good. Nice ambiance
Venue and service were very good - food was average for price. Nothing wrong with the food but fairly bland.
Lovely ambience and surroundings. Food excellent. Service generally attentive however we did feel a bit forgotten about after the main course. This did not spoil our evening however - we were in no rush and enjoying the atmosphere.
Such a pretty restaurant located close to the iconic Tower Bridge. Wonderful menu, great food and excellent service.
We had a lovely family meal on Saturday. The staff were very attentive and service was prompt. We were particularly impressed by the waitress Kinga as she served the meal and drinks with fun and a smile. Would definitely eat there again.
Had a fabulous evening at The Ivy - great service, beautiful food and all at a great price!
On entering the restaurant there were a lot of workers there, I was welcomed but no one offered to take my coat or offered the clock room service, I had to requested. The service was good overall. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely and lively. It was noisy, all I can hear is people talking, I don't remember if there was music in the background actually. The waiter was good and experienced but a bit over the top at times. We had to ask for some of the sauces twice as they got forgotten.
Refined service with an attention to detail. Delicious food.
Food was mediocre.
Not exactly what I’d expect from the Ivy.
My friend and I had a very lovely afternoon tea. The food was lovely and the restaurant has a great atmosphere
Lovely restaurant with great service in a great location, had a fabulous time
