   Absolutely fabulous. Fabulous food - just a perfect meal in a lovely venue. Told them it was my sister birthday and they brought her special sweet with candle. Not an empty table and yet staff very attentive - excellent evening.

   The food is always outstanding here, and very affordable. Staff are very friendly and they represent the diversity of Birmingham. Ivy attracts a certain type of snobby person, not sure why, but they tend to be rude to staff. I've seen it many a time and it's disturbing. These types aren't in Michelin star restaurants because they can't afford it but feel the need to act like entitled fools at Ivy. Other than that, I would recommend it.

   We went as a party of 4 for birthday celebrations. One of our party ordered a vegan malaysian curry. The rice served with the curry was under cooked and gritty. We told a passing waiter who said he would tell the manager. I don't know why he couldn't deal with it but the manager arrived about 5 minutes later and took the rice away. She returned with a fresh bowl of rice about 10 minutes after that by which time the curry was finished. We ordered tea and coffee. one of us ordered mint tea but afternoon blend arrived and pot of coffee ordered was one cappucino! The service was extremely slow throughout the meal. Despite all this we were still charged a 12.5% service charge! The music was a little loud which together with the noise of diners talking over the music made the restaurant very noisy indeed. Not a good place for those hard of hearing. Overall I was very disappointed and not what was expected of a restaurant of this standard.

    We went for afternmoon tea at The Ivy Birmungham and overall the restaurant was excellent, with friendly attentive service. The food was well presented and well served, however we were served gluten free scones in error. When we questionned that these were gluten free, we were challenged that they were not. On further questionning they were returned to the kitchen and replaced with totally different scones - full of delicious gluten and a totally different experience. They even looked different. Overall it is a beautiful venue and would return or buy vouchers for friends, however we were unlucky with both the scoens and the questionning of our "diagnosis" of them.

    My daughter and I went for lunch , food was delicious , service was great . Waiter had a good wine knowledge and was attentive . Cocktails are nice but not cheap . I definitely recommend The Ivy for a special occasion

    The 3 course meal was delicious and service excellent. As a diabetic I was still able to find meals that were suitable although we did indulge in the dream dessert which was divine. I would definitely recommend eating at The Ivy and my friend enjoyed her birthday treat.

    Excellent food as always They did get my drink order wrong and arrived with an extra chips we hadn’t ordered but they did give them to us free of charge Minor gripes really The rest of the meal was excellent and cocktails lovely but expensive

    We had a wonderful evening meal at the Ivy and would recommend it to others. The service and food were excellent. I thought the food was good value but perhaps the drinks were a bit on the pricey side. Overall thoroughly pleasant experience.

    A group of five of us dined here yesterday and had a lovely experience. Upon arrival we were offered to put out bags in the cloak room and shown to the bar. We ordered prosecco and cocktails a before being shown to our table. The waiter was very well presented and well informed. We were given iced water, ordered two bottles of the house white (which was very nice), and given time for the final member of our party to arrive. There were three menus, the ala carte, the set and the vegetarian/vegan. I ordered the cottage pie having been recommended it by a friend and my colleagues order the fishcakes and plant-based curry. Everyone enjoyed their food and in place of dessert we ordered another round of cocktails. Throughout the evening the waiter checked that everything was ok and asked if we needed anything else. The bill arrived and was £290, a little more than expected given that we had only had one course. The cocktails were £12 each, the prosecco were £9 each, the house white was £27 per bottle, and a sizeable 15% tip totally around £34 had been added. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would return for a special occasion.

    I love the Ivy and go very frequently. On this occasion it was my mothers birthday and 3 of us ordered prawn and monkfish curry but told there was no monkfish. We still had the dish and it was good but no reduction in price/ drink offered as an apology. Found this poor customer service. Could do better on this occasion

    Everything about our meal at the Ivy Temple Row was brilliant. The food and drinks were perfect and the staff exceptional. I would recommend this as you could fault nothing. Was a little disappointed the fish cake was not on the menu as that is a favourite of mine.
