The Ivy is a cool, eclectic restaurant with interesting takes on familiar food. It has one of the best stocked bars in SLC. Every food item ordered was delicious and well presented. The service was excellent!
I love this place, this is my second time there and they were so many reasons I came back, service, food and beverages are excellent, i definitely recommend it and I will be back soon. Rob was our waiter and he’s the best
Really enjoyed the meal and service at The Ivy, would definitely recommend for a nice dinner out. Although a hot summer evening in SLC, the patio was very nice!
A great place to go. The service was outstanding, the drinks were great, and the food was spectacular. They were out of stock on some drink items but at least they had the ability to let us know right away as we ordered.
We will definitely be back.
Love the outdoor patio and the everything Brussel Sprouts are a must have.
Food was exceptional and the patio was one of the best we’ve ever dined on!!!
The ambiance is lovely here and love the option of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was wonder, food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich and enjoyed it, however the charcuterie board was very lack luster and our flatbread was burned. The menu definitely left a little to be desired. Maybe more options? Nothing immediately jumped out as interesting, it looks like more focus has been put on the drinks menu, which
Great place to sit in outside area for drinks and appetizers.
Nice menu and wine list. Our first visit to The Ivy was last evening and we dined on the outside patio which is very nice! I would highly recommend The Ivy!!
Great outdoor patio. Good food selection that has a little bit of everything.
I just went to The Ivy for the first time and it was a great experience. The food was good, the service was great, and the ambience was lovely.
I REALLY want to love this place. I know restaurants are having a hard time but we are receiving THEEEE worst service here. If I were the owner of this place, I would be reaching out to people like me finding out just what is going on. And if the owner/s are actually onsite, then maybe they just don't care? This place has SO much potential but some of the attitudes I've encountered here on various visits, I think I'll wait to see if this place improves. Added to my own experiences, I've actually recommended this place to several friends and none of them are having good experiences when they go. It's unfortunate and I am embarrassed to have suggested they celebrate something special there.
Outstanding atmosphere, but our brunch came out cold. Service was good but not great.
Food was outstanding (we had the shrimp and grits and the scallops) and the atmosphere was wonderful. A great little getaway from city atmosphere and loved the back patio and greenery.
Less vegetarian and chicken options on the current menu than OpenTable suggested but the service was wonderful and the food was very tasty. Cocktails were also delicious and unique!
Phenomenal flavor and value. Had a vegan in the group and he loved it! Service was great, as was the food, and selections. A bit on the loud side, but it was energetic and fun.
The food and drinks were great. Service by Matty was excellent. He made it an amazing night.
Great new restaurant in the former Cafe Molise space and the best downtown patio. Grilled Asparagus, Falafel Waffle, and Sweet potato gnocchi were all great.
Our waitress was incredibly attentive, the Brussel Sprouts were the best I’ve had. Delicious beverages, great garnishes. Loved the outdoor seating.
Matt was wonderful! From the service to the food to the setting, The Ivy is what Salt Lake City has needed. We will definitely be back—thank you!
It was such a good dining experience with a wide variety on the menu. Drinks were really well made. Excellent, attentive service.
Food and ambiance were great. Unfortunately, service was sub-par. They were trying, but werent hitting the mark. Cons: It took about 30 minutes for someone to come to our table the first time, drinks took another 15-20 min. They brought the wrong drink, when we said they could leave it while making the correct drink, the waitress said "Well I can put it on your tab". First aperol spritz was missing any spritz at all. Some of the service staff seemed miserable. Pros - To their credit, they comp'd an appetizer and our main waitress was kind and was really trying. Gorgeous outdoor space, good food. Overall, I would try again for the ambiance, but another sub par experience would probably drop this off of my list.
The Ivy is such a great spot in downtown SLC. We visited for my partner’s birthday and had an incredible meal with delicious cocktails! The servers and hosts were super friendly and awesome. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning the next time we are in town!
The mussels were ok, the sauce was way thick and very spicy, I’ve had them before so I think this time they probably messed up a little bit. My husband had the ribeye and was amazing, my beet salad was not good. They added truffle olive oil that definitely does not match. Plus not enough seasons which made the olive oil take over, need vinegar and salt. Drinks were good
Sat outside on their patio and it was amazing! Great shade and ambiance and overall a great experience. The food was amazing, I had the chicken sandwich and it was one of the best I have ever had. Will definitely be returning soon
Excellent food and a lively vibe. One of our dishes was slow to come out and the waiter and manager addressed it right away, handling it perfectly. We were visiting from out of town, would highly recommend when in SLC.
Great service and knowledge about food and beverage, food portions were large. We were there early on a Friday evening and it was getting busy and louder when we left around 7:15. Fun spot, disappointed that it was raining because the patio is gorgeous
Awesome! What an amazing everything!
our server erick was the best but the music was so loud. overall, great, just lighten up on the tunes.
This was a great place to dress up and sit on the patio! Our server "Matty" was awesome and had recommendations for us! The recommendations provided were exceptional! I would absolutely recommend going here!
Nice open patio. Fantastic service from Michael. Will recommend.
Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food. A little slow on service, but overall great service.
excellent food, service and ambiance and we will be back
Such a lovely outdoor setting! The staff were a bit slow at first but appeared to be a shift change. Our server was excellent after that. The food was grand in portions and quite tasty. We shared a charcuterie board and then had the salmon, the gnocchi, the shrimp grits and steak frites, all of which were great meals. The cheesecake dessert we shared was also fantastic! We will return!
The atmosphere was perfect
The entire staff was very attentive
Service was excellent and the food was outstanding
Great job 👍🏽👍🏽
Super cute place for brunch and drinks!
Awesome place for brunch. Great food and awesome atmosphere. Patio was great
Beautiful outside patio dining right downtown. Close by
Eccles theatre. A great Saturday brunch before the matinee performance.
The French toast was fabulous!
Food was good, just wasn’t a fan of or table being right by the kitchen door. The door swings open towards our table and it was a distraction the entire time. I had the shrimp and grits and my husband ordered the muscles. Both meals were very good.
Superb cocktails, average food. Went for dinner but I don’t think it’s really a dinner place. it would be great for a pre-or post- dinner cocktail or social gathering though
