   Disappointing afternoon tea at the Ivy - value for money nil. Sandwiches were cold straight from fridge. Scones not bad. Other sweets manufactured - not fresh. A lot of money for low quality. Even the pot of tea was not that great (when it came - had to ask twice). Sad. Won't go again.

   I was given the table where I requested it in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive. Food was really tasty. Had the duck curry,highly recommend A great experience overall

   Been somewhat disappointed by the food and the fact that thwy were out of burgers at 4 PM. The quality of the food wasn't great either.

   Overall we enjoyed our meal but find it irritating that while the Ivy shows about 10 different "menus" on its website there is no gluten information on the printed version. This is now common and standardised in Europe btw. Instead one is expected to get a phone out to access the website and fiddle around with an online filter. Firstly, while this may be welcomed by some people, I really do NOT want to start my dining experience with guests head into phones instead of socialising with their companions. Secondly, in this patricular Ivy the online connection is extremely poor. so after several minutes of frustration we gave up. In fact even touchless payment was not possible as the card machine would not connect - we have been told this is a common problem at least in this partricular venue. I would have expected getting that to be seamless would be a basic priority. While service was generally friendly and helpful, a vegetable side dish did not arrve until aftre a reminder was given some time after the mains arrived - but to be fair this was not charged for. On the plus side the both the beef and lamb Sunday roasts were very good - a lot better than recently at another highly praised country restaurant with a "name" chef - and the bombe dessert well up to expectations. Overall we will certainly be back but it it would be nice iof these small things that disproportionately affect the overall experience could be addressed.

   Bland Bloody Mary. No gherkin so menu is wrong. Made with a mixer with no flavour. Bartender does not understand what makes a good Bloody Mary sadly. Needs more training. You get a small tin cup of chips as a side for nearly £7. Food is ok. Good pub level vs Ivy brand reputation and price. We expected more Lovely decor and ambience.

   Great menu and great service Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch in Marlow Ivy and the restaurant is beautifuly decorated
