A great feast for all the senses. A theatre line dining experience. Staff were great and food outstanding
Had been wanting to go to the ivy for ages and it was worth the wait😍
Great food and service
As always, the experience was brilliant. Food was perfect and we had the best time for my mum’s birthday! Thank you.
My first visit to The Ivy in Brighton and it did not fail to impress. its a very popular location so a bit energetic on the nose front. nevertheless we were able to have a constructive business meeting and everyone enjoyed the food, drink and ambience
We sat outside as I had my dog with me, they immediately brought water and a choice of treats for her, It was like having her own menu. The staff are always really wonderful, attentive but fun and relaxed also. We had the set menu this time and it was just the right amount for lunch. A perfect place to catch up with a friend.
Had the most delicious Eggs Royale with perfectly poached eggs. My husband was not so happy with his Full English as the sausages were hard and burnt on one side. We did tell the food attendant about it. Daughter was over the moon with her delicious hot chocolate!
We had such a wonderful time at the Ivy in Brighton and this was our second visit to the IV in Burton. We can only say that it is outstanding dining experience in every single way. The service was incredible and we will most definitely return when we are back in Brighton. The special mention has been made about the service we have received from our waitress. I think her name is Lilly.
NEVER does The Ivy in The Lanes let us down! Incredible team!
We had a wonderful dinner at the Ivy this week, the food was excellent and our server Kathrynn was delightful.
The Brighton version of the famous London restaurant does not disappoint with it's own kind of vibrant vibe and atmospherics. Service was great, food and wine as good as expected and the staff very helpful and professional.
Had the set menu was lovely and good value.
Wine quite expense but really nice.
Outstanding food,setting and service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌🏼👍🏼
Awesome food and a great atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend the Ivy at the Lanes!
Food, atmosphere were excellent, set menu was good value, drinks a touch pricy, service was good apart from some lengthy waits at times (I think we caught them between shifts). For an anniversary meal it was great, would go again
This was my third visit to The Ivy and once again I was not disappointed. From the minute you walk in until the moment you leave their service is excellent. Food was excellent as was all the cocktails.
First time I'd been to The Ivy & I wasn't disappointed. Staff very attentive. Food excellent. Definitely be going back.
Nice food, good service, only downside was noticing at the end of the meal was that they'd swapped a far more expensive bottle of wine than was ordered. Won't go again.
Great staff, great food and great atmosphere. Lovely decor and the bathrooms are amazing!
After 2 yrs in lockdown The Ivy was the best place to re-enter the "real world". The welcoming staff throughout were wonderfully attentive and The Ivy Espresso Martinis are still the best around!
Fantastic food, lovely service and a great place to be
Very friendly and attentive staff who made our anniversary special.
Lovely atmoshere, lively and happy.
Food was delicious and well served.
The Ivy is definitely athe place to go to celebrate
A wonderful experience for my sons 21st - service was impeccable and food delicious!
Lovely decor, great ambiance but service for drinks very slow which was a bit disappointing
Did not disappoint, a wonderful experience, can't wait to visit again.
Diner was amazing, delicious and food came pretty fast. It was my first time but I had great impression. Drinks were also nice. I will be definitely returning again. Place is nicely done and service was on point.
Great surroundings good food & great service, definitely worth a try’
Wonderful venue, service and food. Booking on the website was very easy, with a confirmation call and email the day before. Friendly and professional welcome on arrival, and shown to our table quickly. Food was delicious (the profiteroles are epic!). Would definitely go back.
Fabulous tea. Brilliant, buzzy, beautiful restaurant and the tea was exceptional. Much thought went into the preparation and everything looked and tasted delicious.
Excellent service x friendly and welcoming
Be back very soon
Lovely birthday afternoon tea. However would have preferred more savoury then sweet.
Off to a poor start when we arrive on time to be kept waiting 10 mins outside before being shown inside. In the rain. Then shown to a table for two. I know we are moving away from Covid concerns but the tables for two are placed ludicrously close together. At the table they had in mind, I wouldn’t have needed to stretch out my arm to tap the next diner on the shoulder. We were subsequently moved to a table for 3. Still too tight, too many tables crammed into to small of a space. The Ivy don’t need to maximise space like this.
I expect to hear music when I eat as background. I don’t expect to hear sub bass vibrating through the seat. Music at a ludicrous level. So loud you have to shout to be heard. A massive error that should have been corrected by duty manager. It’s not Friday night- this is Sunday lunchtime. Finally- too warm. Turn the AC up.
I like the Ivy chain, Guildford is solid and dependable. I thought the meal here was fine, no complaints about the food. Good table service from helpful waitress as well. The other issues are poor and shouldn’t be happening in a restaurant like this. Won’t use the Brighton location again.
The Ivy in Brighton is a superb place to eat. Josh and his team are so professional and made my 60th birthday amazing. We had plenty of time to eat and drink and I even had a large profiterole with a lit candle.
Loved the decor and the ambience. We had a lovely and attentive waiter but he was let down a little bit by colleagues at the bar meaning only half the drinks were delivered to the table and I had to ask twice for the rest. However it was a small thing in an overall very pleasant meal for six - we all really really enjoyed the food. Recommend the Ivy Burger and the strawberry shortcake dessert! Maybe could have done with the music being a bit quieter but it didn’t stop us talking across the table.
Carlo was very attentive and also great care was taken with our order.
Lovely food, attentive staff and very reasonably priced
Food service and overall ambiance was superb
Music was loud but we loved it
When in Brighton will defo return
Beautiful environment to celebrate our friends hen. Exquisite food and fantastic atmosphere.
General ambience good but music pretty dire and too loud.
Nibbles: one olive each seems very mean!
Mains: OK but not very imaginative/ bit basic
Service: generally very pleasant and helpful; reasonably responsive for busy Saturday evening.
Will definitely go again.
Fab fod, great atmosphere. Our waiter Dimitri was first class and really looked after my family. Thank you!
