   We booked a table last minute and was seated outside. Our server Charlotte was excellent. She was kind, helpful and gave us some recommendations as we decided. She was so lovely that it’s made me want to return time and time again. The food was delicious as well.

   My last visit here was awful so I was slightly reluctant to go again. However I didn’t need to worry as the food and service were both excellent. Special mention to the waitress as she was happy and smiley and extremely efficient.

   Very nice again, was there last week and probably going again Friday. Great venue and great food, hard to fault. Service was just ok this time but was brilliant last time.

   Went for an anniversary lunch and was treated wonderfully by staff. They were very attentive and kind in their service. The zucchini frites and truffle arancini were lovely starters. The half chicken and stuffing roast was the biggest letdown. We bought 2 and found it all to be very dry and the chicken was overcooked to the point we could only finish half of the meal each. Nevertheless, staff were very accommodating after we raised our concerns and offered us a complimentary dessert (the tiramisu was to die for!) We also received a free profiterole dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Overall we gave it 4 out of 5, as much as we disliked our main courses, the restaurant catered to us very well and we left satisfied and full! Would recommend The Ivy in The Lanes, just not the half chicken roast.

   From the minute you walk into The Ivy in Brighton you will experience the most outstanding service. The staff are all brilliant at what they do. The food is first class. The only issue I had today had nothing to do with the staff, but more to do with the party of 8 sitting next to us. One of the party was a badly behaved toddler that the parents did nothing about. The mother in the sorry had a baby who started to breast feed her baby. Now I know this is controversial, but she was not at all discreet about this. Whilst I appreciate breast feeding is a natural thing to do, I don’t expect to witness this in a high end restaurant. All that aside, anyone that goes to The Ivy in Brighton for a meal will have an outstanding experience.

    We had the best anniversary lunch with delicious food and amazing service. From the moment we stepped in the door we were wished happy anniversary and then treated so well. We received a complimentary dessert as well. Would thoroughly recommend thank you
