   Found the service a bit slow. When our order was taken it was rushed which resulted in the wrong food being brought to our table. For the money I was expecting a slightly better experience. It was quite noisy and we felt that although the service was slow the whole experience felt rushed and not very relaxing. When we left we both felt rather disappointed with the whole experience.

   As always, the Ivy delivers. Beautiful decor, great location, professional and friendly service. And the food...the duck curry was divine - spicy, tasty but not at all overpowering. I will struggle to choose anything else next time! The steak looked wonderful too and was perfectly cooked. Not a cheap night out - though the 1917 menu when available is great VFM.

   Great time at the Ivy with the kids, the service was brilliant and they were so lovely with them as well, they even got a little Easter present ! We'd been to the Ivy in London locations, but this was more spacious and equally trendy, delicious food - definitely recommend

   We have been eating at The Ivy In The Lanes and The Ivy Asia since opening in Brighton and have never had a poor word to say about it, even to the point where we have joined the rewards scheme and had family members for large celebrations in The Tidal Room. Unfortunately today was an exception with food being served barely warm, to the wrong places, with accompanying sides for the roasts being given to those having fish and chips. The usually excellent service was unfortunately quite slow and in personable to the point where we were asked whether there was anything else we wanted, at the same time as being told we needed to vacate the table within 5 minutes. Such a shame on a family celebration of birthdays and Easter Sunday which will make us think twice about returning to what has been a favourite of ours for some time.

   Service too fast we had our starter before our wine arrived 10-15 minutes after sitting down and main course within 2 minutes of finishing the starter- too quick for a relaxed evening meal.
