   I visited The Ivy with my friend to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was some of the best I've eaten and the service couldn't have been better. I had a chichen salad for main and shared the chocolate bomb for dessert. Both were outstanding. However, I felt the drinks and sides were a little overpriced and I was very disappointed with quite a steep service charge at the end of the bill. Despite this, I will definitely be returning for another special occasion!

   Brought my sister to your beautiful restaurant as a treat. Her husband died recently and she needed a little lift, if only for the time we had our meal. She had never been to The Ivy and was very impressed with its beautiful decor. Our food was delicious and the young waiter was very efficient helpful and friendly. I’ve been to The Ivy twice before and have always had an excellent meal and very enjoyable experience in this delightful restaurant.

   Such a lovely treat we had yesterday. Delicious food, so delicious, the vegetarian menu is superb, dessert soooooo good, the chocolate bomb is a must. To share, because my god its sweet. Loved it all. Thanks so much. Its expensive for lunch, but worth it because the taste and portion match the price. You are paying for top notch everything. So worth it. But for me, a treat day out.

    Food was slow coming and 2 dishes were very overdone. We sent one back because it was so bad but then it took ages to get a replacement, everyone was finished eating by the time that person started their food. Our waitress was very nice and took that item off our bill. Generally the place was very busy and the decor is lovely.

    Presentation of all good was excellent,however cod Goujons were mediocre,cheese desert was minuscule. Decor in The Ivy is always to a high standard. Service was excellent Drinks were outstanding. Food let the visit down on this occasion. I also like to add gratuity myself and not to have it added automatically.

    Food was very disappointing. I had sea bass, it was over cooked and tasteless. I felt a little unwell after eating it.Duck salad to start is usually very good but yesterday was not as good as normal.. overall food was most disappointing

    Place is lovely, food was very nice, we were asked to leave our table after two hours, which was okay but we were abruptly moved by one gentleman and asked to have our tea at the bar. Then he came and demanded that we pay the bill and put tea on separate bill. We said we would pay when we finished our tea, this did not please him but he did return and say okay when you finished your tea please pay.

    We ended up leaving as the table outside was squashed into a corner, there was no protection from the wind and no heating. You would expect a restaraunt of that calibre to have invested in a better outside area. We ended up spending 300+ in another restaraunt and I would have felt very umcomfortable spending that kind of money while practically on the street, It didnt feel like we we would have been having dinner in the ivy.

    Got a great table and our waitress was very nice. The decor is fab and love the whole ambiance of the place. The food was lovely… didn’t blow up away but very nice. Enjoyed the experience going here and would definitely go back to try other things on the menu. As it was friend’s birthday, it was a nice touch of bring down small cake each with candle for the birthdays. Would recommend to friends to go here.

    The food was lovely but the service wasn’t great. Not so much from the nice waiter, who I think was Spanish or Italian and was very nice and doing his best, but from the Irish guy who I found somewhat rude when I approached him upon arrival outside at the waiters station and said I had a reservation. He was quite dismissive when telling me to go inside to find my table. Which was maybe fair enough but he wasn’t very friendly at all. What I really found off putting was when I returned to the waiters station to ask for something I’d requested a number of times he was loudly berating the waiter for not prioritising the hot dishes. Obviously getting hot dishes out is a priority but it was very poor management to do so in such a loud manner in front of customers- not just myself who had approached the desk but the table beside the desk could hear everything and I think it was probably humiliating for the waiter to be instructed in such a manner. It left a bad taste in my mouth to be honest and I think the manager should have some training in how to manage his team.
