    There were mixed reviews but it was a lovely dinner experience for us. It was 15mins wait at the bar. The food, service and ambiance was great. We got the cute birthday plate that was requested. It was pricey but worth it.

    Had a fabulous Xmas lunch with my husband on Thursday 7th. Lovely atmosphere, definitely full of Christmas spirit. We had two very attentive waiters looking after us, don't remember the names, but looked after us really well,. Would definitely be back, yes more expensive than your average lunch but you are in Dublin and its a one off. Will definitely be back, keep up the good work Team Ivy

    Wonderful experience. Arrived late due to bad traffic. We were extremely well looked after by all the staff. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Will definitely return to The Ivy. Thanks to everyone who looked after us.

    I'm extremely disappointed with my recent dining experience at your restaurant. We ordered the burrata from the set menu, but were served a tasteless mozzarella instead. It was evident that they had run out of burrata as only one guest received it, while the rest of us got mozzarella. Initially, the staff denied the mistake, but only after insisting did they acknowledge the error. Considering we were a table of 11, the compensation offered was inadequate. We were given a 50 euros discount (equivalent to 4 euros per person) and the service charge was waived. This is particularly disheartening because the error was not on the part of the waitstaff but rather the chef. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I am hesitant to return in the future.

    Business breakfast booked for 4 but changed to 5 when we arrived although the restaurant was busy, this was no problem. All staff were incredibly polite and professional, we were actually served by Ivy in fact who was very friendly and polite. Great spot for brekkie with a lovely atmosphere and lots of choice on the menu. The pancakes which were ordered by 3 of our party were fine, I do think additional berries and maple syrup, cream cheese would be a welcomed addition. We will certainly be back

    While we were a party of 3 we had a table that was very squashed and would have been more suitable for 2 people. The people at the table beside us were on top of us and it was difficult to have a conversation in private. They were two lovely people and from chatting to them they felt the same way. The service was slow…starters came pretty quick but then we waited for some time for our main dishes. It was very busy and had nice atmosphere but overall was just uncomfortable.

    Had an enjoyable day. Staff were very attentive especially the lady with the short blonde hair. Menu could be a little more varied. I found it difficult to find find something agreeable with me. I had the Chocolate Bomb for dessert which was excellent.

    Me and my partner dined here last night for our anniversary. We had the christmas set menu and it was delicious, the duck salad was to die for!! Our server David, was so kind and helpful. The cocktails and wine was a little bit pricier than expected but none the less we enjoyed our meal ❤️

    Disco and terribly loud music. Had to ask twice for it to be turned down. Not even Xmas tunes!!! Too loud. I was told it was something new for Saturday nights and they couldn’t turn it down. I asked to speak to the manager and was told no. Less than favourable customer service. Wine choices far too expensive for this type of dining. Experience and food choices. I will recommend but with certain caveats.

    I brought 8 friends there to celebrate my birthday. Table booked for 8pm. We were still standing at 9. Waiter was lovely but too busy. We had to ask for main courses at 11pm. We were hungry and fed up. We had to go to the bar to get drinks. 2 of my guests had the halloumi which was so cold it was like it came out of the fridge. Another had one mouthful of her steak as it was so tough. Chicken dish was also cold. I tipped the lively waiter in cash but the night cost me over €1,000 all in and it was awful. I was actually embarrassed. I have it booked for next week as I am bringing another group but am going to cancel that and the following week again.

    We were a party of 6 on Saturday . Table booked for 7.45 got there for 7.40 went to the bar couldn’t get a drink ! Got our table got some drinks waited 45 mins to order food ! Waited another hour on main course ! All the veg was freezing! More or less were told it wasn’t !! Won’t be going back anytime soon !

    We were little concerned, we were nearly finished our wine, when the waiter asked if we could move to the bar. We realised they wanted to get the table ready for the next customers. We would have been only another 10 mins, so maybe next time don't book the reservations so close to one another. Other than that everything else was wonderful.
