Melting chocolate bombe with milk foam, vanilla ice cream and honeycomb centre with hot salted caramel sauce
Crispy Duck Salad
Warm crispy duck with five spice dressing, toasted cashews, watermelon, beansprouts, coriander and ginger
Such a lovely environment which helps create a great atmosphere in which to enjoy stunning food and drink!
Helpful smiling professional waiting staff in the Orangerie
Cold soup quickly replaced with fresh hot serving
Chips Luke warm too.
Disappointed to be told very bluntly at reception, that the table I had requested had been given to somebody else and I had booked a 2 hour slot not a specific table.
I felt reprimanded.
Some of the staff greeting paying customers need customer service training & to understand the importance of a genuine warm welcome
Repeat guests should be valued.
I felt disappointed as this was a special occasion with a friend who had travelled from Sheffield for a celebration lunch, and I am a regular at the Ivy
Please don’t let standards slip
As always, excellent service, good and ambiance at the Ivy.
Everything was great except that we were seated next to a large family with a baby despite lots of other options. Breakfast was excellent and the service was friendly and lovely
Staff were nice. Very informative and polite. Food was average at best. Noting to write home about. But the most disappointing thing was the cost. Obviously piggybacking off the brand. £170 for the two of us. Cost is not the issue if the food is if a standard that’s spoken about for months or years to come. Never made the grade for me or my wife
Lovely food and atmosphere and was very busy even on a Sunday night. The building is very attractive and tastefully decorated. A meal there feels like a special occasion.
Excellent atmosphere and service. Reasonable food (afternoon tea). Bit pricey for what it is.
Amazing food quality and excellent customer service
We love the Ivy but would have preferred to be in the main restaurant instead of a separate room
Fantastic as ever! Never disappoints, food was divine and staff attentive 😁
Fantastic place. Food was in credible. Only downside was due to current covid restrictions limited table time. No fault of the place just felt rushed and I know we would of spent more with liquor coffees had we had a more leisurely evening.
It was busy and that explain the noise and the wait to attract the service attention when something was required.
All in all I enjoyed it but I would have preferred a quieter table.
Absolutely love everything about The Ivy. Such a treat to share delicious food in such a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and very attentive. My idea of a perfect family celebration. Can’t wait to come again!
The dining experience is excellent, the staff make you feel special.
The waitress knew I I was gluten free from a previous visit which was impressive and the fact it was my birthday without prompting.
The Ivy gets the little things right which all add up to a great experience. Things such as placing the correct dish or drink in front of the right diner without asking “who’s having…”. Sparking clean cutlery and glasses compliment the high standard of the food.
Second time visiting and it was amazing as before. Service was great and food was fabulous
We’ve truly enjoyed our meal! We will definitely recommend it this place to our family and friends.
Very enjoyable evening, food and service excellent.
Went for a birthday meal and the experience was great, portions were huge, food tasted fantastic and the service outstanding.
Poor waiter service. He was abrupt. Not attentive, didn’t listen. Had an offhand manner. Did not enhance our experience in any way. Spoiled the evening for us.
Only recommendation would be more room for baby changing in toilets. Otherwise food amazing, really brilliant service lovely atmosphere and beautiful place!
Lovely afternoon tea! Service was good and covid measures were good.
Great day spent at the Ivy. Great staff and food…………………
There'was a great buzzy atmosphere in a lovely setting. Service was excellent. The steak tartare was possibly too safe. Otherwise loved the blackened cod- perfectly prepared and the chocolate bomb was a clever delight
Ambience excellent, our waiter helpful, polite and professional.
I'm spoiled by living in Cheltenham where the Ivy is located in a better building. We had a lovely lunch in Clifton but the table facing the door wasn't the best - still someone has to have it and the food and service was fabulous.
Gorgeous setting - beautiful, but not snobbish, ambience and the staff were perfect in being attentive but not condescending. Good menu choice and we especially enjoyed the house G&T blends. The place was buzzing with people who all looked like they were enjoying their meal and no noticable delay in serving food. Overall, a perfect setting for an enjoyable lunch marking a special occasion and I look forward to returning
Absolutely superb, cannot fault quality of food or service. Highly recommended.
Such a lovely environment for a special meal. We will definitely be back.
The staff made me and my mum feel so special and accommodated our food requests it was a wonderful experience
Beautiful place, fabulous food, professional service. One of my favourite places to go for a special treat. Thank you team Ivy
It was outstanding in every way. The table was incredible, food amazing and service excellent. We were excited about going and expectations were exceeded.
Great venue for a lovely birthday meal, enjoyed by all
An amazing night at the Ivy, the food was excellent, the friendly staff could not do enough for you...would definatly reccomend you visit...its a real treat. Thank you.
Very disappointing afternoon tea. Sandwiches were stale. Not worth the money.
Lovely venue! Amazing food beautifully presented and delicious! We found the portions generous too.
Great for a special occasion! Would highly recommend.
A lovely venue, service and reasonably priced lunch for my 50th birthday! Thanks, highly recommend!
Excellent food, served by a waitress who was knowledgable, polite and friendly. Amazing building and interior decor with a very refined atmosphere. Enjoyed it immensely. Will definitely return.
