Located in the heart of Manchester, Spinningfields, the restaurant occupies an impressive space within the new development, The Pavilion, surrounded by greenery yet situated in the centre of the city.

The Ivy Brasserie is open all day, seven days a week. Serving modern British classics for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and everything in-between.

The Ivy Asia and Bar is located on the second floor, open seven days a week from 5pm and from 12pm at the weekends. There is a central glamorous late night bar and the restaurant is illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor serving Asian-inspired cocktails and sharing dishes with entertainment and resident DJ’s.

    The Dalton Room at The Ivy Spinningfields seats 18 guests on one long table or 20 across two rounds of 10. This exclusive space in the heart of Spinningfields is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for up to 40 guests. The bespoke patterned white Carrara and grey Fior de Pesco grey marble tiled flooring, eclectic mix of vintage dining chairs upholstered with bold floral and palm printed fabric, and hanging gilt leaf pendants add a touch of glamour to the room. Taking centre stage is a striking ceiling coffer, complete with cotton flowers in a nod to Manchester’s former “Cottonopolis” heritage, set against gold leafing. With a selection of Ivy brasserie menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Dalton Room is equally suited to private parties and celebratory dinners as it is for corporate breakfasts and lunches.

    Had spring afternoons tea for a belated Mother’s Day. Bit expensive for what you get but I think that about most afternoon teas. prefer gentlemens tea. I do think it’s a bit of a con that you have to pay extra for a cappuccino or latte if you don’t want basic tea or coffee. Some places you can have them instead. My mum enjoyed it. I do like the Ivy though and the a la carte menu and the Asian restaurant

    Absolutely loved it. Enjoyed cocktails, wine, food. Staff very pleasant and not intrusive. Loved the special touch to finish with - choux bun with chocolate and cream decorated with a chocolate happy birthday plaque on my niece's birthday. Definitely need to go again

    The server we had I think his name was James he was so lovely and very attentive, topping up drinks throughout and they even brought me a birthday profiterole which was lovely! Thanks so much!!

    A brilliant first visit to The Ivy for my birthday. The service was outstanding and it was a lovely touch that the front desk acknowledged my birthday. The little dessert with a candle made it feel special, thank you. The food was outstanding and the night was topped off with a few drinks in the terrace in the roof garden. Would highly recommend.

    Lovely afternoon tea with our parents. The staff are amazing. we were served by a lovely girl called Prya . she was excellent. apologies if we have not recalled her name correctly. The ground floor restaurant was perfect for us as our parents are 80 plus but they loved the whole experience. Thank you

    Paul and baz made our visit at the ivy very spcial. My son was celebrating being in remission from leukaemia. We couldn't have picked a better venue the food was amazing And the interior is absolutely stunning With great music. Me and my family would like to send a big thank you to all at the ivy For a lovely time spent there .Xx

    Food was delicious although too of the 4 mains were on the lukewarm side. The chocolate bombe dessert is highly recommended. Really is to doe for. Service was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing.

    Attended for lunch. The setting was lovely . The service was slow waited over half an hour for someone to take our order. The food was lovely but one of the poached eggs was not cooked properly and a little runny inside .

    Enjoyed having brunch, service was brilliant. My only peeve was the level of music, I struggled to hear what my friend was saying and it was 2pm in the afternoon. Everything else was spot on.

    This venue is excellent for celebration meals, but perhaps not if you want a secluded 1-1 with somebody or a really formal occasion , for the latter, you need the private room! . The staff and ambience really do create a memorable experience. The staff really do go out of their way and are a fantastic asset. My family have sought this cenue fir a few years now and have be er been disappointed

    Lights were dimmed down around 10.00. Our whole pary agreed that it was far to dark I'm afraid. Totally impossible to read a menu after that, we had had to use torches to read the pudding menu, thanks goodness for mobile phone features. Otherwise a very pleasant evening & a great server.

    We had a lovely time from when we entered to when we left. Lovely Corner table for 2 and our waiter who had a trainee with him (Fabrizio?) we’re both excellent and attentive. The food was delicious, although the green beans were a bit under done, w e mentioned this to our waiters and didn’t really eat these. And when mum asked if the music could be lowered a touch it was accommodated with no fuss. Overall a very enjoyable evening. Thanks you

    Received an afternoon tea gift voucher from friends. We have dined here before but this was the first time for afternoon tea. All staff were very welcoming and our dedicated waitress Lily was exceptional. She was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The sandwiches and sweet offerings were good quality and very tasty. As an added touch a birthday profiterole arrived complete with candle adding to the overall experience. As always we found our visit to The Ivy to be a very pleasurable one indeed.

    Went with 4 family members to celebrate daughters upcoming wedding. All very smartly dressed lbut daughter had to take veil and sash off before going in. Realise that this is the policy for many restaurants. However on entry seeing many males in track suit bottoms and back to front baseball caps did seem double standards. However the food was lovely and the service was excellent. Would go again but next time would be nice to try the main restaurant and not the brasserie

    Excellent food and a good value Set Menu, although that is not offered automatically….you have to ask for it….Why?! A very charming young waiter. Cappuccino arrived unacceptably lukewarm but it was no problem to get it replaced with a hotter drink. Sadly the music got louder and louder which made conversation difficult. Is that really necessary? Background music is fine but this was overpowering.
