Came for afternoon champagne cream tea as had a voucher for a special Birthday , food was good service nice and friendly until we came to pay with the voucher , all fine until manger then dropped what I thought was a receipt on the table to find he had charged me the extra £2 pay increase of the cream tea plus a discretionary 12.5% service charge , I have dined here many times before had quite a few vouchers and always left a tip but to be given an actual Bill for service is an insult plus try to charge for the price increase when the voucher states it is for cream tea valid for 12 months , I won’t be back

I was lucky enough to be taken to The Ivy in Bath for the 3rd year running and what a wonderful afternoon I had. Presented with some tulips on arrival, and the waitresses all had beautiful floral jackets on. Afternoon tea was heaven, honeybee theme. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Thankyou Ivy Bath, best mother's day ever

Unfortunately the service was much slower than our usual experience at the Ivy. Additional to that a side didn’t come out with one of the main courses until the guest had nearly finished their main, it must have been missed off the order. The cleanliness was not up to usual standard either. There was crushed berries of some sort on the floor under the table and chairs at one side of the table that was from a previous guest as we didn’t have any dessert and the glass water bottle that came out to our table had major limescale staining in the top of it.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Felt the tempura prawn could have been a bigger portion, but the duck salad starter was fantastic. Excellent fish main courses - the salmon was lovely and moist, the peppercorn sauce could have been warmer; the cod was very good - and everyone loves a chip from The Ivy

Slow service. Not very attentive when they are busy. Longer than average wait for food. Food good. Drinks expensive. Staff not very friendly. Restaurant noisy, hard to hear yourself speak.

My Wife’s Birthday. A very nice lunch. We had an upstairs window seat that overlooked the street. The service was attentive, perhaps a bit slow at times but it suited us. Great decoration. The background music was a bit loud - I would have personally liked it a little quieter. Overall very good .

Not enough staff for a Saturday morning. From asking for sugar twice for my coffee and sauce with our breakfasts (first drinks arrived was wrong I must add) I dine at the ivy often in city’s as I know the quality they give. Please do better.

Staff was friendly, decor lovely and sweet was good but that’s where it ends unfortunately. We were shown to our seat given menus and offered some table water but it never arrived. Waited around 20mins for drink and food order to be taken. Main course was the baked cod (Asian style) cod over cooked, dry and tough. Pickled fennel had virtually no flavour and chilli mayo was bland and no chilli kick. Sorry to leave a less than positive review but expected more. This was at the Bath restaurant on a Wednesday evening.

Good service but a bit slow. Did not have desert as got fed up waiting. Web sight confusing as booked 8.30am instead of 8.30pm, luckily spotted it in time. Food excellent as always.

We went for a meal to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. The staff asked about it at the door and the person who served us a table was informed. We were very surprised when the table next to us got a small cake and a candle, but we received nothing.

Once again, a fabulous lunch at the Ivy in Bath. Wonderful service as usual and great atmosphere. I can highly recommend the mozzarella starter and the blackened cod main. It was the first visit for my friend and she was very impressed.
