Hit or miss dishes (my ravioli tasted like Chef Boyardee but my husband’s was first-rate). They don’t need reservations because we booked at a busy Saturday night time and they just told us to sit anywhere. Very nice staff and great service - just expect more of a “no-frills” than the profile would lead you to believe.
We went ther for dinner for Valentine’s Day. It’s not a big place at all. Once we were seated it took several minutes before we were even greeted. The food was great though.
It was okay. I would not eat there again. The food was very overpriced and the service was sub-par. Multiple people left because they were not attended to.
The prices online are different than what is on the menu in the restaurant. I thought the meal was a $12-$14 meal, not a $20-$25 meal. Meatballs didn't taste like they were from scratch. My husband got the Chicken Broccoli pasta and the broccoli was almost raw and mostly stalks. The staff was horribly unorganized for it being Valentine's Day, which created a hurried, stressful experience. The lights were turned on super bright, which is fine, but when the tables are elbow to elbow, a dimmer ambiance could give it less of a lunchroom feel. I am happy to pay $100 for a nice night out, but the quality just wasn't there to justify the cost.
The booth we were given, I couldn’t get in cuz of high chairs and waitress would move them. Ordered the rigatoni and asked for soup of the day, told they don’t make soup. Only offered a house salad which was soaked in water, old with a bottled salad dressing in a Dixie cup on the side. No bread, olive oil served, no anti-pasta. This was more of an American Kitchen not Italian.
Disappointed on food selection.
Food seemed frozen and processed. seemed to be more of a Robert orr sisco experience. expected more of a hands on freshly made experience.chicken Marcela was 23.00 . spaghetti meatballs 19.00 I would have expected 10-12 a plate.over priced but large portions.extremely nice staff very clean.
Nice atmosphere with excellent service. As others have written, pretty pricey for the caliber of food as you can get the same food at half price at the casual dining options.
That being said, not out of line for downtown Nashville. We will definitely go again
Too expensive for the experience. Food was alright, but way over priced.
The eggplant parmigiana was excellent. Table of 7 and everything was delicious!!
Terrible! Tasted like cafeteria food. Prices were twice those in menu shown on OpenTable.
A store front restaurant with big glass windows and brightly lit. A little noisy. Food was surprisingly good.
The food was good but there was one female server who was SO rude. Constantly complaining about customers where everyone could hear and slamming things around. Would not expect that from an “upscale” restaurant. Food tasted great but no kids menus so lots of wasted food and over the top pricing. Not worth it.
Yes and No: It was convenient to TPAC and was good for kids. The pizza and chicken parmesan were good but the ceasar salad was not. it has way too much salad dressing and croutons. The lettuce was very limp too. The tiramisu was the highlight of the dinner. So yummy!
Excellent service and food for our large party!
Thank you
Poor quality food in terms of taste and preparation. For instance, I could not taste the eggplant in my eggplant parm, which was smothered in cheese. When I asked for oil and vinegar for my salad, I was informed that they didn’t have vinegar, and the oil did not taste like it was made from olives. My husband said the meatballs he ordered were among the worst he’s eaten. We asked for a glass of wine on the menu and were told that it had not been stocked there for a long time and the server didn’t know why it was still listed. We were visiting only a single night in Nashville and made a big mistake with our dinner choice!
Waitress was very pleasant! Meal was good but over priced.
Visiting Nashville and looking for good Italian food. Loved it. Great food and service.
We arrived early for dinner (5:00pm) on a week night. We enjoyed our food and wine in a booth by the window. The wine mark up is very high, therefore only a fiour star for value. The restaurant was quite so we were able to carry on a nice dinner conversation. The waitress was friendly and service was very good. Overall experience 5.
Was simply the worst italian food I’ve ever had. Waitress was very nice.
How can you have reservations for anything after 11am? I made reservations to eat at this place that didn’t even look like reservations were even needed. If you’re not open past 11am then you shouldn’t have times to be reserved
Over priced wine which was terrible. Server left two bottle of Champaign on the table and didn’t open it for us. We were a large party so the servers tip was automatically included and she never checked in with us.
Excellent calzones, pizza and lasagna! Online menu prices and what is included with a meal is different - salad and garlic knots were not included in calzones or lasagna as seen online. Service was speedy, but a small crowd was there, so no rush. I would go again.
Spinach artichoke dip was best I ever had! Pasta excellent
A little pricey, and the food was not really spectacular enough to warrant $23 for chicken marsala or $19 for baked ziti. It was good, but not worth the money for me.
Great food! Super enjoyed it. Staff was friendly however, they seemed to be understaffed. But even with that, I recommend it & will be back!!!
Had Chicken Parm and fettuccine Alfredo. Both were great. Place was practically empty which surprised us for a Friday Night, but it was 8 pm. But we were very happy with our choices.
Just ok. Entrees were overpriced and portions were less than stellar.
Food was really bad. Service was ok. Not many people three, now I know why.
The ambience was highly energetic – high school students that had been traveling for competition. The staff was so incredibly busy! Andy took care of us and our service was flawless! They give a great pour on wine, The servings were generous and the food is totally flavorful! I had eggplant Parmesan, requested no cheese and extra sauce and that is exactly how it came out! My husband had chicken Parmesan. We Highly recommend!
