   This cozy restaurant is a great place for a delicious meal, great service and great drinks. The food never disappoints. The cozy atmosphere of this old house makes dining feel intimate yet, not stuffy. Great place for a date or to meet friends.

   I must say it was a disappointing experience. I was there a while back which I thought was great. Today, I had ordered short ribs shepherd's pie and I specifically asked if it was somewhat similar to the braised short rib they have- didn't really expect that the meat was pulled short rib and buried in a 3/4 high mashed potato with hardly any meat at the bottom. I thought it was overpriced. My friend had the pork chop- semi tender, it was okay, mediocre otherwise. The place was cool, it wasn't comfortable to eat, and the only dessert that I would have tried, they didn't have.

   What a wonderful dinner! We sat in the upstairs room which was quiet and perfect for our dinner with family and friends. The service was impeccable. We were immediately greeted by Joanie, who immediately made us feel like we were royalty. Cocktails were perfect and all the wine bottle recommendations were excellent. Clearly I cannot say enough great things about dinner. We will be back!

   The food was excellent, the decor and upkeep of the restaurant could use updating. The bar next door is very cool, the restaurant appears a bit dated w the artwork and cases of wine on the floor. But food and people were excellent. We’ll definitely come back.

   Great service by Joanie Craft cocktails were outstanding! Food was very well made a delicious This under the radar gem should be on everyone’s go to list! Highly recommended!

   The Irving Inn was a wonderful, unique experience. The restaurant is small, as if dining in someone's home. The ambiance was cozy... with just 4 tables in the room where we dined. The food was outstanding. The food combinations were interesting and the presentation was pleasing. The starter cheese plate and the desserts were delicious! Make sure to try both!

   Our meal and service were very good. I removed one star strictly because of reservation confusion. It seems if you search “Irving Inn Social” and book a reservation ONLINE, you are automatically seated at the Irving Inn next door. This is not clearly indicated when making the online reservation. I had hoped to be at the Social as I was there with my daughter before a show at UCPAC. Menu is slightly different (fewer items) at the Inn and atmosphere is quieter/more upscale.

    We have eaten at the Irving Inn several times over the past 5 years or so and have always enjoyed the food. The restaurant is quaint and the waitstaff attentive and personable. However, this trip although the meal was delicious, our visit was marred by the uncomfortably cold room. I understand that it is an old building but a few degrees warmer would have gone a long way in the enjoyment of our meal.
