Our country pub and bar area is at the heart of The Inn which offers classic and contemporary interiors, relaxed seating and open fires. Enjoy country pub classic food dishes including daily specials and fine wines, cocktails, real ales and craft beer. Head Chef Shane White and his team have created a menu inspired by the seasons and resources and celebrates the amazing produce North Yorkshire has to offer.

Sunday lunch at the Inn was excellent. Unfortunately our friends got held up in traffic and the staff were great very understanding. Lunch was lovely a very relaxed affair but with attentive service. Just the way it should be. Everything was first class and we all enjoyed catching up.

We were celebrating my son in law’s birthday & they brought along their dog Ziggy. All of us were made to feel very welcomed. The food was delicious & staff were most obliging we will definitely be back

Our booked table was in the bar area which was really noisy, busy and felt like eating in a busy railway station. Dogs were barking and yelping throughout the meal which was very unpleasant. Our food was well cooked but in comparison to other similar restaurants, it was expensive for what we had. The staff were efficient and friendly but we had to wait quite a long time to receive our food and the starter I chose was not available. An alternative was offered but I declined. My seat was covered in crumbs when I sat down and my husband had to ask for cutlery for his steak. The lighting was very bright and the battery candles did nothing to create an ambience. We would not return.

Been here before but a while ago ,service was very good , the food - fish and chips was overcooked .

We made a reservation weeks in advance for Fathers Day and had a really bad experience in terms of service. Took over an hour to get our starters, and over 2 hours to get our main meals. The waitress was also not honest with us about the hold up, and eventually the manager came to speak to us after we queried this twice, explaining that the orders got mixed up and didn't reach the kitchen. We also had our 3yo with us, and his meal also took 1.5hrs to get to us. Not a great experience and makes me feel like I don't ever want to go back, even the food was amazing

Always excellent, we do a 140 mile round trip to visit. That should speak enough as a recommendation. Staff are always excellent and a key part to the success, beyond the food.

🌟✨ Just had my first dining experience at The Inn, and let me tell you, it was a delightful surprise! 😍 From the moment I walked in, the staff were super attentive without being overbearing—just the right balance! 🙌💖 Now, let’s talk about the food! 🍽️ Everything was delicious, though I will say it’s a bit on the pricier side. But honestly, you can really taste the quality in every bite, so it’s totally worth it! 😋👌 Oh, and a little tip for anyone planning to visit: don’t forget to register your car in the pub for parking! 🚗💡 With all the lovely walkers around, the car park fills up quickly, and they’ve got to keep things in check. Overall, I had a pretty good experience and can’t wait to go back!
