They did not honor our open table reservation but called to change the time. I have a medical condition and I could not accept a later reservation. I spoke to the owner of the Inn who was the rudest business person I have ever encountered. He told me I was not welcome to come there and I assure you I hadn't planned to after our conversation. I am soon going to be a property owner very near the Inn and my husband and I have been back and forth to Vermont searching for the right home. There are many fine restaurants in the area to choose and I hope no one ever experiences the business approach he used with me. He actually questioned where we ate, who our realtor was, etc and to question the reality of what I was telling him. My reviews of food, service and ambiance are based on a previous stay at the Inn several years ago. It is a shame that he was so rude.

Wonderful restaurant with an interesting menu and really fresh ingredients. Great hospitality and service throughout and each course was nicely spaced so that one did not feel rushed. Outstanding wine list and some good artisan beers and unusual cocktails. We will definitely go back - home cuisine at it’s best!!!

Hadn’t been in about five years, but it was as terrific as I remembered. One of Vermont’s most charming and wonderful restaurants!

A friend treated me to dinner for my birthday and I chose the Weathersfield Inn -- it is wonderful no matter when you go, but especially for a special occasion. The food is inventive and delicious, the service -- which included welcomes and meals delivered by the Innkeepers themselves -- was warm and inviting, the ambience lovely as always. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary at the Inn. The food was amazing, the service was quick and the ambiance just perfect. Very much a typical Vermont Inn with 5 star cuisine.

Great hidden gem. Farm to table- garden is right out back . Chef was picking ingredients as we arrived. Meal was delicious. Started with the caeser- dressing was unique in flavor , one of the best I've had . I had the special of the night. Scallop boutin- plated nicely and wonderfully delicious. Friend had dietary restrictions and the chef prepared an absolute gem, using the wild salmon on the menu. Waitress Amy very attentive and knowledgeable. Hosts of the inn delightful. Would definitely go back and recommend
