Excellent experience
Very nice dining experience. Service was professional, food choices were good, the food was fresh and delicious. Overall very good experience and would return.
Food and service were impeccable.as you would expect from Jean-Georges
The service was slow, they didn’t clean tables after people left we had to ask them, the staff seemed overwhelmed...and didn’t care how their customers were.
I am sure Jean Gorges would not be happy about the experience!
Great dinner, great company, great food!
Thank you
We had a lovely Easter brunch!
Everyone in our party loved it!
The food is always excellent at Inn at Pound Ridge. Most recent visit was for lunch and all 5 of us were happy with the food. The service is very attentive. I would recommend that you think about what's important to you in seating at a restaurant and ask specifically for it when you reserve. Not every table is a winner, but they are always gracious about filling requests.
Waiter was a little off, food was good but main course was not all that authentic, Appetizers were good
Very overpriced for mediocre food. The waiter was overworked and slow to return with our drinks and food. The food itself was nothing to write home about. A burger, pasta and basic salmon dishes with nothing interesting about them. The drinks were full of large ice cubes and nothing special. The wines, which go for a range of $16 to $21, were unremarkable. The only positive was that the room itself was attractive. I would not recommend. I am from Bronxville and would say that there are a lot more good choices locally. Skip this restaurant.
Server disappeared half way through dinner and some woman named Megan showed up, never introduced herself she just seem to frantically shove food at us. When I told her the dessert was unacceptable (it was a carrot cake that was frozen) she snatched off our table and said she would let the chef know and did we want her to pack it up. She made no apologies. Did not offer to replace it with something else and Didn’t remove it from check. Then after the check was paid, the original waiter showed up clueless as to what had just happened.
Megan was rude, snobby and unprofessional. Ruined our 19 anniversary dinner. And we are not strangers to fine dinning, this was unacceptable by any standard.
Extraordinary food. Attentive welcoming staff
Nicest place for first dinner out in 12+ months.
They food at the Inn was delicious! Service was good but could use some improvement. The waiter was very eager to clear out our table. My family finished their meal before I did and the waiter cleared off the entire table and I was just sitting there eating by myself with just my single plate on the table. It was weird and awkward.
Great service; food beyond mediocre
The tuna tartare is the best in the business, and their entire menu is both creative and scrumptious. It is difficult to go wrong and we have never had a bad meal there.
Perfect service. Perfect dinner. The bass, buratta, and Brian and the team - thanks to everyone at The Inn for a great Saturday night.
I went to the restaurant with a high expectation but it ended with a hugh disappointment.
The lobster ordered was overcooked. Chicken was tasteless.
There was no waitor around for over 15 minutes and was told by the Manager that they are in transiting.
This restaurants food was amazing as well as cocktails and wine. The ambience is met with dim lighting beautiful architecture and interior designs. We will be back and cannot wait!
2nd consecutive week delighting ourselves. Excellent service amazing food and ambiance
the food was excellent as usual, the service was fair only because a bottle fell and broke a glass accidentally.
Lovely! Great to be back eating indoors. The food and ambiance are wonderful.
So disappointing. The place has really gone downhill. Food was very mediocre and totally overpriced. Hostess and manager with the red frizzy hair were very rude and snippy.
Was there for my birthday dinner and will never go back!
We came early and sat inside. Our server was delightful and everyone attended to our every need and want. They came over to check many times. Safety protocols were enforced.....it was so delightful to be in a restaurant again and to enjoy the most amazing food in Westchester county. We LOVE the Inn at Pound Ridge and whenever we have the opportunity to have the tuna tartar, it makes me want to come back to dine again. Looking forward to outdoor dining in the garden area.
Excellent food and service!
Outstanding quality of food service and ambiance one of the best restaurants in the entire NYC area !
Loved the food, service, and atmosphere! Did not disappoint, even given the Covid environment. Would like it to be a little quieter, especially since tables are spaced at a nice distance for health reasons. Hope when Covid is conquered, the noise level won't go up!
Great time getting together with friends have not seen in months. Food was excellent as well as ambience and service!
Brunch was really good, with the usually excellent and friendly service. Lovely setting.
This is a tad bit out of the way for those coming from lower Fairfield County, but well worth the trip. The rustic ambience in an inn setting is charming and warm. Service is no-nonsense, but solid. The food was outstanding. Innovative preparations of some basic main dishes are prefaced by a number of really tasty and creative appetizers. We'll definitely be back!
Food rather disappointing this time around- much more basic and lacking in pozaz, originality
We always love a visit to the Inn at Pound Ridge. Food is superb, staff and service are great, and the environment is so lovely and makes us feel right at home. We are huge fans.
A usually exceptional dining experience has lost some of its luster, likely due to COVID-19. Pre-pandemic, the chicken dish at this restaurant was a piece of ‘real’ chicken basking in sauce and flavors. On the tail end of the pandemic, the same meal consisted of a hard to cut and chew chicken patty that has left me very gassy and bloated overnight. Considering how great the dining experience was prior to COVID, my expectation is that dining here will improve greatly with easing of restrictions and a return to some semblance of normalcy.
We had Jesse as our server and he was fabulous. Very kind, personable and professional. Whole meal was excellent. My friend and I got the salmon and chicken, both delicious.
We had a fantastic dinner for our one-year anniversary. Service was excellent, food was delicious and wine was wonderful. Staff even went above and beyond when we were unable to get a taxi home. They let us wait inside the restaurant while we waited for transportation and made us feel welcome even though we know they were trying to clean up to get home. We will be back for sure!
I would highly recommend for a special event. The food was amazing.
Always delicious and just a fabulous restaurant!! Great for a special occasion.
My wife and I shared the boiled shrimp salad which was outstanding. Really unique and I would recommend it. I had the steak entree. It was delicious. The problem was it came with spinach, which was cold, and mashed potatoes that were way over salted. My wife had one of the pizzas which was also way over salted. We have eaten here many times and always had great food. Unfortunately not this time. I hope this was just a one off event, and not the result of changes from the difficulties the past year.
