   Average Sunday roast, expensive for the portion size, wouldn’t go back in a hurry even if service was very good

   Came for lunch on a Saturday, a few noisy kids which is expected. Service and food very good indeed , have been before and will come again.

   Third but disappointing visit. Noisy table guests behind us ruined the visit. Noisy women and then a walking baby. Food was mediocre maybe due to number of bookings. Could not eat brownie as it was cooked to a biscuit. This was taken off charge. Burger was just average for the price. Waitress was wonderful and helpful. Lovely and bright young lady. Best part of the visit.

   We had Sunday lunch at the Inn at Maybury and all thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. The food and service could not have been better. They offered a good range of traditional Sunday lunch roasts, including the “trio” which was a mix of three meats. Definitely to be recommended for those with a hearty appetite. To follow we selected the mini dessert with coffee, which was excellent and much larger than the expected “mini”. A great pub lunch and we will definitely return.

   Desert was a disappointment - they normally do a really good crumble but this was tasteless and very very chewy

   A lovely meal of Fried Brie starter, Lamb Kofta and Tiramisu. Evening greatly helped by the fact you can pop in to the bar area to enjoy the band afterwards. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Very little to pick fault on
