Manager had his mask off more than half the time we were there, just walking around with no care in the world. Also gave us a dirty look on the way out which is super unprofessional. Its a pandemic. Do better.

One of our drinks wasn't brought over for 10 minutes and we sat with empty drinks after that round for another 15 minutes. The salad we ordered without cheese came out with cheese. The server barely checked on us and when she did she was either super curt or just outright rude. Gave an attitude when we let her know the salad was incorrect. One of our water glasses came out with lipstick all over it. There was almost nobody in the restaurant at this time so busy isn't an excuse either. This was our first visit as we are trying to give our business to smaller places during this crazy times. But it will be our last. Some things are excusable. However these were not.

The food was excellent and the service was as well. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from and they are all fantastic. My husband and I went for our anniversary and they gave us a big piece of delicious chocolate cake! We'll definitely be back!

Baked haddock very good as was the Industry hamburger. Mixed drinks good and decent price. Draft beer was a bit high. Overall place was the best in the neighborhood.

The Pineapple Express martini was to die for! I ordered shrimp scampi and it didn’t have much flavor and it was sort of dry. Overall it was a decent place.

What a new great Thanksgiving tradition--dinner at The Industry! Loved the prime rib entree and accompanying seasonal vegetables. Our portion sizes were so big, we took them home and enjoyed them for lunch AND dinner the next day.
And the turkey noodle soup? Ready for more.
Staff was excellent! Thanks for a great meal and experience.

Nice place to have brunch, the food was tasty and satisfied us picky eaters. Do not recommend the drinks. I sent back my first one (mule) and switched it out for Tito’s and soda water just to be simple but the water taste like tap and was flat. Just drink water. Other than that I would go back just for the food.

Service is very good. the dinner was bland. I ordered a gluten-free haddock and got just a plain old haddock. It could’ve been done better with spices or: salt and pepper butter lemon etc. the rest of the people in my crew felt the same,Just average. I’ve been there in the past and the food was much better. Hoping it was just not a good night.

It’s almost nicer, during Covid times, to go to a restaurant. I love the space and privacy you get now. We reserved a “bar” seat, and it was great! Cocktail and wine menu are more than decent, but the food was just ok. Nothing bad, but nothing great. I’d go back just for the convenience aspect.

The service was a bit slow and the drink my partner ordered didn't come for like 20 minutes so we had to ask again. We were outside and our server didn't come to the table between placing our order and the food coming out. It would have been nice for her to check in while we were waiting so we could have reminded her about the missing drink order sooner. Otherwise, the food was good.

It took 1 hour for our food to come out of the kitchen. We got there at 5 pm. The place was empty so we didnt know why the service was painfully slow. Food was ok. Drinks were good. Too loud however...music was blasting.

Our server was amazing! she was very attentive and such a sweet girl! the food was okay, i was expecting more out of the food, the drinks were great! the place is nice, parking was a little hard to find. Overall it was a good place, and i will be back.

Went for brunch and it wasn't what I hoped for at all. Although waitstaff was friendly the service was slow and everything was just mediocre. 20 minutes for black coffee is unreasonable. Bloody Mary mix wasn't quite right, tasted like tomato juice with sad garnish not even a celery stick.

The restaurant was pretty empty so I don't think we can blame the experience on that it was too busy. I guess when I ordered an English muffin with my omelette and it was brought out to me without any butter and I was told there was no jelly in the restaurant that's when I made my decision that I won't be coming back.

I'm not too sure what the Industry needs but it needs some improvement. I have given it a fair shot in the last few weeks and each time I have been a bit more disappointed in the experience.

Brunch date with the boyfriend. It was pretty quiet for Labor Day Weekend. It was almost empty inside..only 3 other couples. What we didn’t like is that the waitress took a long time to bring us condiments. I could understand if it were busy but it wasn’t. Other than that..the music was good. Food was delicious (I had the California Chicken Sandwich) and drinks were good as well.

The restaurant was nice, spacious, and comfortable - but the lighting was too bright. Ambience would have been better if lights dimmed. Waiter was courteous, but new at his job, somewhat mousy and quiet, and was asking to clear our drink glasses and dinner plates even before we were done eating or drinking. He wasn't rude but I felt like he was hovering too much and wanted us out even though the dining room was empty. Food was delicious. We ordered calamari and the buffalo quesadillas as apps. Salmon and pasta dishes for dinner. Will give them another try again because food was worth it.

I went with my friends to celebrate my birthday here. The place was quiet on a Friday night, there was a large amount of staff. Besides the bar, we were two tables of maybe at most four or five other tables in restaurant. In the first five to ten minutes of the majority of us getting there, the staff was attentive and friendly, if not a bit distracted, but it went downhill from there.

The drinks took some time to come to the table. Before we ordered food, random food was given to our table by mistake . Then when food was placed in groups in which it was ordered, and came out staggered, not at all according to order or together. People that had ordered first waited longer for their food, besides us waiting a decent amount of timing for the food in the first place. Some of it was cold.

My friends ordered two shots just for me, and they never appeared at the table. When we tried to get the attention of staff for anything, they weren’t paying attention or were nowhere to be found. However, as I was the last one to leave, I heard the staff mention that there were shots that were never delivered sitting at the bar, and they agreed to take them for themselves. Overall. It was an average experience. We did like the atmosphere in the restaurant, but the service was lacking and if it wasn’t for us socializing with each other and keeping entertained, we would have been more dissatisfied because of how things were going.

A little lax on mask wearing. We sat outdoors and the waitress had her mask around her chin or not over her nose most of the night. The food servers did wear masks properly.

The Industry had 4star quality food at 2-3 star restaurant prices. We loved that we could sit outdoors especially now with so many worries about the Coronavirus. The one down side is that the outdoor seating is right on Adams St in Dorchester in a fairly high traffic and noisy area. The restaurant did have a divider with planters on it at the end of the sidewalk are, but the main street side was only blocked by cement barriers. Perhaps they are or will consider putting up a prettier divider/barrier to the traffic. The food was truly delicious, especially the chicken wings and we will go back despite the ambience not being perfect.

I liked the place and the service was good. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but I was very underwhelmed with my scallops an the apps we got. Not to say I wouldn't go back, but I'd probably stick to more bar food and apps next time around.

I'm not sure how to answer this I've been to the industry twice the first time the food and service were both very good. This time it was a Sunday evening, and the restaurant was not busy at all, yet I found that we were constantly wondering where our server was. While the steaks were good, the vegetable side was barely cooked, particularly the brussel sprouts. I give it a good rating, perhaps because the steak was slightly better than good and the vegetables worse. I can't really say if I will return.

Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. Ended up at the worst table in the house ... right outside kitchen and bathrooms. Every waitstaff person had to walk by our table. Sautéed mushrooms were definitely not fresh and appeared to be from a can. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was the tiniest mushrooms I’ve ever seen ... I almost laughed. Steak tips smothered in not so tasty bbq sauce. Overpriced meal for what we received. Doubtful we will return. Unfortunately, one and done experience!
