The Idaho Club restaurant set in the beautiful Clubhouse, is a family friendly setting with an exceptional menu set by Chef Mike Drabowski.

Mike is a Sandpoint native and most recently served as Executive Chef at 41 South. Under his leadership, 41 South was consistently voted as one of the best restaurants in Sandpoint. Mike learned his craft at the Seattle Culinary Academy earning an Associates of Culinary Arts degree in 2008. His culinary expertise was further developed at several concepts managed and owned by the Tom Douglas Restaurant Group in Seattle, notably Etta’s and SeaTown, after beginning his career with Schweitzer Mountain Resort.

Amazing night at the Idaho Club. We try not to go too often because it is so great and we want to keep it special. Our server was perfect. She was funny and caring. The food was amazing except that the first time they got a steak wrong but they fixed it right away with great customer service. I had never had trout before and now I love it!! The abeyance was wonderful as well. This was our first time eating outside on the patio- wow!! It brought everything together for a magical night. We will definitely be back for another special occasion. We also recommend this place to all our friends! Thank you soo much for this place!

Reservations were easy. We had outside seating to look out over the Pack River. Others at other tables but it still felt quiet and intimate. Staff was great and the food was delicious. We even had dessert.

The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The food was great, and the provided a relaxing environment. Great place, and even wonderful place to bring the kids, as they treated us all like family.

We are members. Order the ceviche and brushetta appetizers. Both were awful. The ceviche is grey and slimy not fresh and pink. The brushetta had zero taste with old tomatoe slices on top. The entrees where not much better. The lamb chops had no taste with no flavoring on the broccollini. The parmesean crusted halibut had zero taste, except for fishy smell and taste. Not even sure that is was halibut that was served. My wife did not eat a single bite of anything. Waitress was unaware that we did not like the food. Got the bill and was charged an additional 20% gratuity on top. Menu says it is only added for 8 or more people. It was just the two of us. There was also an additional tip line on the bill. We were so put off that we never signed the tab. totally uneventful night and an embarrassment to a membership club serving food like this. Nothing is fresh at the Idaho Club, and what is served has been outdated or about to expire. Will not be eating there any time soon.

We live in the area we don’t golf so didn’t think about the Idaho club. But it was great for a special occasion, beautiful patio scenery along with the timber lodge. Will definitely be back.

Tonight my wife and I went back to the Idaho Club for a second visit. I had the flat iron steak, which was quite good and met the expectations for the quality you would expect from the idaho club. My steak was cooked perfectly and the au jous was an appropriate addition to boost the flavor of the broccoli and the potatoes. My wife had the vegetable curry which she enjoyed. It definitely had the flavor and smell of an established Indian restaurant. My first visit I had the burger, which I’d like to go back and try a second time. Overall, the setting is amazing, especially if you sit outside. You will most likely see bald eagles, and other water birds which make for a really nice evening. Lastly, the general manager, John, genuinely cares about the patrons of the Idaho club which says a lot.

Spinach dip was amazing! I got the ragu with grilled chicken and it was out of this world! My husband got the cowboy steak and it looked really good. Another dinner got the trout and there wasn't anything left on his plate. It was so yummy, we're going back there tonight.

Excellent service, wonderful craft cocktails, delicious halibut and goulash. Menus change seasonally and are very creative. We have dined here multiple times and enjoyed the deck in the summer and fall. Beautiful building with great views!

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, from the gate keeper to the hostess. We had the Halibut special, it was cooked to perfection, served by Lori, who was very nice and took care of us very well. We will definitely go back, it's well worth it!

The country club is beautiful wish they had a few more appetizer choices. The food was very good but the portions were rather small for the prices. We eat at hydra’s two nights ago food was equally good portions were better value. It’s worth a once a year visit

Wonderful hostess, staff, drinks perfect, and the food so delicious. I’m picky about my steak as I like it “mooing”. Each time I’ve ordered the filet it has been perfect. Thank you. I appreciate the ability to drop someone off at the restaurant doorway if they have difficulty going up the rock steps. The family atmosphere by the staff is so comforting. A great place to dine. The actual layout of the indoor restaurant kind of sucks and the dead animal on the fireplace needs to go. However I’ll always be happy to return. They have a chef, not a cook. Enjoy!
