Good was a little iffy- Mac n cheese crunchy(too much so) texture of mushrooms very off putting. Drinks were good. Service was good.
Normally one of our favorites but this was not the best meal we have had there....missed the mark this time
Its a great place, but for some reason the food wasn't as good this time around. We tried some new things. The Argula salad was ok but is a fairly common salad now at most fancy restaurants. I didn't like the octopus this time around - it tasted a little fishy and not well seasoned. The lamb chops were decent though. And of course the drinks are out of this world - especially the Iberian Old fashion. I always have trouble ordering the right combination of tapas that go well together. They should put together a tapas combination choice for us foodie amateurs. Still its a great place.
Our server was very knowledgeable about all the meats, cheeses and wines. Everything she recommended was delicious. We were a party of 8 and ordered many dishes and shared. Everything was delicious. This is my second time visiting and I will definitely come back!
I have been there many times before and the food is always fantastic, we just got a less knowledgeable and enthusiastic server this time around.
Our server was amazing! I’ve dined here several times and this was by far the best experience I’ve had here! Thank you so much!
Once again great food and atmosphere. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list.
everything we ordered was beyond delicious. Must try the pork cheek tacos, veal ravioli and the lamb chops!
We always love the bacon wrapped dates. We also enjoy the Monte Enebro cheese. You cannot go wrong with any of the cocktails. My husband and I always have a great experience.
Hit or miss service, (we were not told about the daily special or offered any dessert, also the server was very pushy wanting us to order what was on her agenda). Food - nothing remarkable. In fact, most of the dishes left a strange bitter aftertaste. (Tacos, broccolini and octopus). A couple were just fine, (snapper and warm greens salad) but nothing above average. Everything was very overpriced for the portion, taste and quality. Overall a very disappointing experience.
Took our 21 year old son out to dinner while visiting him at college in Atlanta. Great spot for a hungry group! Tapas allows everyone to try a wide variety of food which is fun and a great way to sample dishes you might not ordinarily order. Great service with an upscale/casual atmosphere. Easy to over order though! Would definitely go back again.
Always a fun dining experience. We did a meat and cheese sampler and then tapas for the table. Food was all fantastic. The restaurant is always very loud and cramped, but it is always good!
Amazing as always. One of our favorite places in Atlanta.
I went to Iberian Pig on a double date before a concert around the corner. This was the second or third time I've been there, but it had been several years. First thing I noticed was how expensive the wine by the glass was (upwards of $20/glass!) so instead I opted to just get a bottle for my partner and I to split (our friends split a carafe of sangira, which I didn't try, but they said it was good). I told the server what kind of wine I like and right off the top of her head she was able to name at least 3-4 wines. I picked one of her recommendations and was not disappointed! We ordered a bunch of tapas - arugula salad, bacon-wrapped dates, duck confit croquettes, pork meatballs, pork cheek tacos, mac n' cheese, and a pork cheek stew. For dessert we had flan (which had more of a cheesecake texture) and a Napoleon-style chocolate pastry. The food was great, and the server took extra care of us by adding an extra serving to the items that only came with three (e.g. there were three meatballs or tacos, she added a fourth, because there were four of us). It was plenty of food and we were full by the time we left. The only disappointment that we had was that the duck croquettes were cold, like ice cold in spots. We told the server and she was very apologetic and management did not charge us for them. But overall I had a good experience, and I would definitely go back.
The Iberian Pig never disappoints. Their drinks are pretty good and the food is great! Service was outstanding and my friends who had never been were impressed. I wasn't a fan of the white sangria, but a honey based drink ("mystical" something) was really good! The tapas were all good although we probably ordered more than we needed. I also like the vibe of the place, particularly outside. It's a little gem in Decatur. Try it if you like Spanish tapas.
Amazing, always. This is where I like to entertain out of town guests.
This is the second time I've been here and I've been blown away both times. The service is excellent (we had Stephen) and both times the servers worked extremely hard to make recommendations and accommodations to our specific tastes and needs. I didn't have a single thing that I didn't thing was worth it. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend the greens and the pork tenderloin!
I have to say I was really disappointed since I was expecting real authentic Spanish food, but it wasn’t the case. The food was good, just not quite traditional from Spain. I should’ve paid more attention to the reviews. Hint: if there are tacos and Mac and cheese in the menu, don’t expect to be authentic.
There were some tapas that were very good, such as the octopus and the chorizo, as well as the goat cheese.
The ambiance was good.
If you are looking for some real Spanish food, just go somewhere else, if that’s not so important, then I think this place is ok.
The mushroom is tasty but a tag salty. The pork cheeks is, however, under salted.
Terrific food. Mushrooms were off the charts! Liked all 6 Tapas we had!
I've frequented the restaurant on multiple occasions. The pork cheek tacos is one of my favorite dishes in the metro Atlanta area. During this visit, I tried the bacon-wrapped dates. Sinful! What a perfect combination of sweet and savory, firm and soft. I, absolutely, love them! Can hardly wait to return!!
great place in a good location. Way too loud with playing rap in a Spanish restaurant? Weird!
The prices are too high, dinner for four at around $300. Wait staff superb!
Great area and I was glad we sat outside.
My family and I went here for Easter lunch. It was great for us--not too stuffy, casual but still great ambiance and food. My 4 mo. niece was with us, so they were very kind to give us a corner booth where we could easily sit her with us. Great Sangria and tapas!
Really like IP. They are consistent and always tasty. The prices on the tapas/small plates have really gone up over the years so we visit less frequently now but still really like the place.
They claimed to have Easter brunch specials and some Golden Egg contest when read OpenTable's Easter Brunch in Atlanta list. There was 1 "brunch dish" that was basically hashbrowns with an egg on top of it. We left, didn't even eat lunch there. Iberian Pig's PR person needs to be more clear in her media outreach. It was misleading what was written.
Love this place! It was the site of our first date, our rehearsal dinner, and we keep coming back
My wife and I chose to celebrate our anniversary here and I’m very glad we did. It was our first time and we were absolutely blown away. Best meal in a long time. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and assisted us with our ordering. The wait staff was also very prompt in cleaning our table between dishes. This is now one of our restaurant favs in Atlanta.
Amazing food and great service from both our waitress and the bartender. The only thing that could've been better was where we were seated - at the top of the stairs in a bit of a cramped space. Other than that, it was a great experience!
Great food, a little too loud
Per usual, Iberian Pig exceeded my expectations. Still my favorite restaurant in Atlanta!
Food it's ok
It was Paella Day - we were served Spanish rice with steak - not Paella, NO SEAFOOD. It was NOT Paella
Delicious, Delicious, Delicious. Sangria needs to be tastier and a little more potent.
Food is always great. but Was disappointed with paella. bland. flavorless. awful. had to pay extra for churisso and add pepper flakrs to make it tolerable.
The tapas are always delicious and the service is excellent
The best part of the experience was the cocktails, which were excellent. Several items on the menu (including one cocktail!) were not available the evening we dined. The food was not cooked carefully--some things were delicious, others had been overcooked. Our server had too many tables to care for, causing long delays. The noise level was very high and detracted from the experience.
Food is stupendous every time we go. Service is good. Some prices high and some prices are ok. We went for our anniversary knowing it can get loud, but he food is worth it. Don't be afraid to bring the kids. Try the things you haven't heard of or never had. You will be delighted.
Wait to be seated took a little longer than expected BUT it was worth it.
Have been to other tapas-style restaurants around atlanta, but definitely have to give it up to Iberian pig - they really impressed me with everything! Food was delicious- even plenty of fantastic vegetarian options. Drinks were on point. Service for the most part took good care of us - one of our dishes took a long time to be brought out. Very lively atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to everyone! 👍
