What an amazing dining experience. The room offers an intimate, quiet atmosphere. The food was exquisite beyond my ability to describe it. The Chef and Staff service and attention were unmatched. Simply superb.

Incredible would be the only way to describe Chef Jacob's menu and presentation. The food was a feast for the eyes, the nose and the mouth. What a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening. I dined alone, and was never uncomfortable. There were many couples and groups, but the spacing is such that you are afforded privacy and quiet space. Every course was a feast, but my personal favorites were the brioche, the artichokes and the chicken. But, I have to say, the finale of the campfire ice cream was pretty spectacular!

Absolutely stunning. My husband and I both agree that this was, by far, the greatest dining experience either of us have experienced. I must recommend this place. If you have a chance, do it. There will be no disappointment. I was so worried that I would not leave full, but I was very wrong. I love how Chef Jacob came out to tell us about each course, and how the ideas came to life. I had no idea so many plants that you can collect yourself were so delicious. Art on a plate.

This place was amazing! 7 course meal made with local food. Chef Jacob puts so much effort into his food. The price is actually decent for the experience. I expected to pay more. I don’t even know how to describe how great this place is. The staff was amazing very kind. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Valentine's menu was Prix Fixe, offered two entrees, and choice of three desserts. Everything was outstanding as rated; there is nothing in the Salado area to compare. The Inn on the Creek chose an excellent chef, and made a smart call in doing so. Very intimate feel, everything was done to perfection with delicate flavors that combined very well. A unique restaurant in the region. Highly recommend.

The Hunter Gatherer dinner was one of the most unique and gastronomically delightful experiences we have ever shared. We were particularly amazed at the detailed choices of even the most minor ingredients and truly whimsical and creative presentations of every dish. We have traveled extensively and this experience is ranked one of the top three of any we have enjoyed; certainly more entertaining and tasteful than most of the other 5 star meals we have eaten. And yes, I'm saying 5 stars; Zagat...take notice!

We attended the Hannukah Dinner. Everything was exceptional. I cannot recommend the Hunter Gatherer more highly.
