The Hub Louisville
Best burger I have EVER eaten. Tried to get in during burger week, now I know why I couldn't get in.
Kaylie was our server and knew the menu and made great recommendations. The nachos appetizer was excellent. One of the owners came by and welcomed us. We were there early for dinner and were able to have a great conversation.
Had a wonderful time.
Eaten at the Hub 5-6 times. This time, we had a reservation at 7:45 and a breakout Lou right next door, scheduled for 9:30. We arrived on time for the reservation and ordered drinks and food by 8. At 9:15, we still hadn’t gotten our food. When we finally did, it was cold. I had to ask for our checks before we even received our food. It took our waitress 15 minutes to even bring us our checks. Just absolutely abysmal experience and none of us will be going back any time soon, if ever.
This place was great! We had a quiet dinner for two, but it would equally be a fun place to meet friends. It is like two restaurants in one, separated by a spacious bar area. One side is quieter, with soft lighting, and the other side was more suited to meeting friends to play pool, or just hang out. I want to return, to try the some of the options on the appetizer menu. Some choices include fried pickles, gourmet popcorn and nachos. Great find!
I went to see if I got a better burger than I did earlier in the week during Burger week. I definitely did. The service was great. This time I tried a fresh citrus margarita which was wonderful. I also enjoyed the outdoor seating.
Raw Hamburgers. Told waitress we all wanted well done burgers she said no changes to burgers during burger week. She said they would be medium well with NO pink. Well all burgers were red in middle not just pink. My wife could not eat hers. Waitress did not charge for hers. Don’t understand why burgers couldn’t be cooked as asked. We did have outstanding Cincinnati Chili popcorn it was the highlight of the meal. We won’t return to the Hub
Food is a notch above usual bar fare. The space has several types of seating options, from patio to bar to seated/low light, to more typical tables, which is really nice. Drinks skew a little toward the pricey side for the casual atmosphere, but not egregiously so.
It was way too loud, our table had to yell to talk to each other. The fried cauliflower was what saved the dinner. My veggie burger was burnt. My husbands chicken was dry. Our waitress was hardly there and refilled our water twice.
Well done! Great for Louisville burger week! Also enjoyed the fried pickles! We had an awesome waitress. I’d go again.
Loved the ambience, service and most importantly, food! We ordered Louisville burger week's burger, side salad and Margarita! Everything was sooooo delicious. Loved every bite of our food and every sip of our drink! Will definitely come again! 🤗
We had a great time. Food was very good and so was the service.
Loved the brunch menu and the pour your own mimosas!
Service still a little slow but understandable with fresh ingredients..
Love the Sunday brunch. You just can’t beat a $10 bottle of champagne with unlimited OJ. One of our favorite places!
Great atmosphere, food and interesting drinks. Plus there is shuffle board!!
Overpriced for what you get. Poor - low quality food at high prices. Much better options. Very good bar drinks.
For a brunch on a Sunday, they ran out of biscuits. There were 7 of us, 5 wanted biscuits.
They were out of cauliflower which was disappointing.
Sunday brunch, we were in need of a sunny patio. The Hubb was a great option. Dog friendly, we brought our fur baby with us and the hostess accommodated us perfectly with a dog bowl of water. Cool location and a nice vibe. We indulged in the mimosa bottle. For $10, we got an entire bottle of champagne, two adorable glass flutes and a beaker of delicious orange juice. Food was exactly what I needed to help aid our Pre Saturday night hangover. 10/10 would recommend. Wish the parking situation was a tad better, but overall... I think we found our new brunch spot!
Great patio, great food. 1$ mimosa. Not too loud. Recommend for brunch. Pork breakfast nachos, pancakes, biscuits....yumm.
We really enjoyed The Hub Louisville! They were the only open reservation we could find for 7 people at 6 pm on a Friday evening (we had decided to look late), so we kind of happened there by accident, but I'm so glad! They didn't have a kids menu but were VERY accommodating to the 3 kids in our party! The food was delicious and so were the drinks. We will be back!
There was barely anyone there when we went for brunch on Sunday but we had a great time playing pool and having mimosas. The food was delish too, will def be back.
Great place for date night. Great drinks and food.
We were there for Mother’s Day. The service was extremely slow and the food was not hot (only warm). Given that they had a shortened menu and the restaurant was not full I was surprised by both. I may give them another try.
I had a great experience at the HUB. When I arrived at the HUB, I was welcomed by a receptionist with a big smile on her face. And she took us to our table and our waitress was waiting for us there. The waitress was very nice, she didn’t rush us into ordering and the food was quite delicious.
First time brunch at The Hub, can’t wait to go back with friends!
The biscuits are soo good! Love the $10 Mimosa -1bottle champagne & 1bottle OJ! Great outdoor and indoor seating by garage doors is perfect for enjoying the weather- no matter what it is!
Food was excellent. Can't beat their mimosa deal! There was a mix-up with our food and we ended up waiting a VERY long time, but the manager came over to make it right and ended up comping our drinks. Highly respectable move. We would recommended this place to anyone in the area.
Fun gastro pub menu. Our server Emily was literally the sweetest most attentive person you could meet!
It was our first time, we will go back and wine list is great and my hubby loved his burger!!
Nice place... decent food but they were so understaffed dinner took forever and messed up my order... food was good, they just didn’t follow my requests... I’d go back as I believe they were slammed due to derby week...
We went to The Hub for Easter Brunch. Disappointed in the very limited menu. However, the food we ordered was amazing. Biscuits and Gravy to die for and plenty to share. Bacon was crispy and eggs done perfectly. All came out piping hot. $1 Mimosas were a hit. The Hub is a neighborhood bar basically, so not much on ambiance. It can get loud in there. They do have outdoor seating. The service was awesome. I would recommend
My parents and I went to the Hub for Easter Brunch. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is very cool! I would definitely go back for brunch and especially for a night out drinking.
Went there for Easter brunch. Service, food and drinks were great!! I think everybody about licked their plates.
We will definitely be back!
Love, love, love The Hub! It can be a bit pricey, but the super friendly service is worth it. I live in the neighborhood and have been coming since day one. The food has improved over the years, but the same awesome service is the same. It's nice to see a place retain servers and bar staff. You know they're doing something right!
A great evening
Great service. Great price. Good ‘meeting up’ place before dinner or after dinner.
The food and cocktails were delicious and unique! We sat next to the pool tables and it was a bit noisy but super fun environment. Definitely going back.
