THE HOUSE is a historic oasis where people can eat, drink and celebrate day or night in true Florida Riviera style. Located directly on the New River referred to as the Venice of America, in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale.

    From the hostess, Jaedyn, and our waitress, Natalia, our brunch experience was great. It was an amazing place to enjoy my sister birthday 🎂

    We had to wait more than an hour for the food ! Service wasn’t friendly neither attentive.

    This is a nice place to eat, the view is beautiful, the place is very nice and the food is good. I don’t know about inside but outside seating was very nice. I don’t know if on this particular night the restaurant was short staffed but the kitchen was taking time to send out the food and when it did get there some of the plates were already getting cold. My plate was last so they had to start eating so it wouldn’t get too cold. By the time they were half way through my plate arrived. Service wise, Natalia (our server) was great and apologized for the delay.

    Nice place on the river. This was our first time here. Had a great table outside near the river. Great for people watching and sunsets. Would absolutely come back.

    Wonderful! This is a Ft Lauderdale Gem. The location on the river is beautiful and the historic building is lovely.

    The most unique aesthetic in every corner with a natural and vintage feel that brings you back in time in the most delicious way. Food was good and affordable. Perfect for a date, casual, or private party! Our server was Christina, so sweet. Try the octopus appetizer and can’t go wrong with truffle fries!

    3 of us celebrating a birthday in the Porch Swing Room. It was a delightful space with windows on 3 sides. Perfect for 2, 3 or 4 who want a quiet place with a view and fabulous views of the New River. Great to sit and sip while thinking about what to order. Our Server made the experience perfect. The food was excellent, from the perfectly grilled octopus and the sweet, crispy brussels sprouts to the medium rare salmon, the most delicious 3-day brined pork chop, and a fabulous pasta bolognese. We ended by sharing a piece of wonderful carrot cake. It was overall one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. On the way out we checked on several unique private dining spaces on the second floor. We'll be sure to come back for a special dinner with more friends.
