   We had the egg sandwich and coffee. Our server was spectacular sitting looking over the river and the boat is fabulous. The hostesses are so accommodating and friendly. We come down from Boca so going to first Sundays in Fort Lauderdale and having lunch at the house on the river is quite a treat

   Delicious pear pasta purses was our favorite. Good drinks, patio is lovely but so are the unique dining rooms. Desserts are delicious, do not skip dessert here.

   The food was delicious but it took 15-20 minutes to receive anything… I’m talking even drinks. It’s a shame because it’s so romantic. The ambience was so nice. I loved the lighting and the people watching, but it wasn’t worth the service.

   My friend and I dined at The House on the River before attending a ballet performance last evening. Kari had been there before and had a good experience, so I made us a reservation with high hopes, especially since it was my first visit. We were seated promptly by the hostess, which was a good start, but unfortunately, the service quickly went downhill. We waited a surprisingly long time before anyone came to our table to ask about water preferences or take a drink order. After an extended wait, we approached the hostess station ourselves to ask where our server was. He did arrive shortly after that, but seemed confused and unprepared—he had difficulty using his handheld ordering device and wasn’t even sure which table we were. Once we were able to order, things slightly improved. Our salad was fresh and well-prepared, and my salmon was cooked nicely. However, the atmosphere detracted from the experience—the music was very loud, and the speaker was directly above our table, making it difficult to hear the server or even enjoy our own conversation. To top things off, the restroom was quite dirty, which only added to the overall sense of neglect. While the food itself was decent, the poor service, loud environment, and lack of cleanliness left a disappointing impression. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

   Love the Swing Room. Alex was wonderful! A wonderful place that we have visited several times now.

   From the hostess, Jaedyn, and our waitress, Natalia, our brunch experience was great. It was an amazing place to enjoy my sister birthday 🎂

   Priscila, was amazing. Recommendations were on point as well as attention. Food was good so was the ambience. Can’t wait to come back.

   We had to wait more than an hour for the food ! Service wasn’t friendly neither attentive.

    This is a nice place to eat, the view is beautiful, the place is very nice and the food is good. I don’t know about inside but outside seating was very nice. I don’t know if on this particular night the restaurant was short staffed but the kitchen was taking time to send out the food and when it did get there some of the plates were already getting cold. My plate was last so they had to start eating so it wouldn’t get too cold. By the time they were half way through my plate arrived. Service wise, Natalia (our server) was great and apologized for the delay.
