   Another delicious Sunday roast, rare roast beef and all the trimmings, perfect!! Great prawn cocktail and drinks, couldn’t be better!!

   Wonderful evening, lovely restaurant, fab service and absolutely amazing food. Our starter of chicken parfait was melt in your mouth delicious and my skate wing cooked to perfection.

   Fantastic meal, not a desert person , normally take a bite and pass onto my husband to finish, however this was the best desert I have eaten, Apple Tarte Tatin with honeycomb ice cream. if I had the room in my belly I would have eaten it again! well worth the extra 15 min wait!

   Very very high expectations of this restaurant, however once again it delivered on every level. From the warm welcome, the manager remembered our drinks order from a previous visit ( one less thing to ponder over), to the superb quality of the food. It was lovely that the Head Chef recognised us and stopped to have a chat too. The restaurant continues to deliver on all scores.

   The House is quickly becoming our favourite place to relax with good food, a good wine choice and relaxed, efficient service, all with a smile. We will return very soon, safe in the knowledge that we will have another delightful meal and few hours of relaxation in the company of the fabulous team at the House.

   My wife and I reserved a table to celebrate our anniversary. I contacted the restaurant before visiting to ask if they would bring flowers to the table if I provided them. They couldn't have been more helpful and suggested setting up the table for our arrival, which my wife loved!!! We arrived slightly early, which was not a problem as they had already prepped the table just incase, again great service!! To the meal, we both thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses and would definitely recommend. Freshly prepared and cooked to perfection and most importantly, delicious!! Our host for the evening was lovely, polite and attentive. Will definitely be visiting for our next special occasion 😊

    One of my favourite restaurants but spoilt this time by noisy tables, I couldn't hear my self think let alone have a conversation with friends at my table. Improved later as people left, will request a different table location next time I book.
