We had a fantastic dinner at House Brasserie! Excellent staff and service paired with a delicious meal. Sit outside on their patio - it’s a great intimate ambiance
I thoroughly enjoyed this place. All the food we ordered was excellent and service was impeccable. Great place for a special occasion.
Nice place to dine for a special occasion.
Great service and ambience
Well prepared food where too many novelties are added making it taste busy and confusing.
Our shared arugula salad was average. The lettuce was fine but the added items were sparse. The branzino was the best of the offerings. The Cioppino lacked variety and quality in the seafood. The broth was tasty and spicy. The dessert brownie was average. The service was outstanding. The real problem is the prices are way too high for what is being served.
Good food. Good service. Nice outdoor seating area, although for the first time we were stuck in the back corner on the way to the back of the house. sitting more toward the front is nicer.
Great cocktails. Great service. Very good wine list. The branzino was perfect. The filet was very good.
Positively enchanting and it takes you back to an era with the elegance of dining. Loved the playful menu with such a myriad of wonderful tastes paired with names of food I can't even pronounce. Our waiter was Tommy and he kicked off the dinner in the perfect fashion, with his charming personality and colorful attire. He is my new favorite! We met the manager after dinner and he was so wonderful to show us the grounds. Everything from start to finish was perfect. I can't wait for my Birthday to come back and savor in the wonderful experience and cuisine.
My boyfriend and I came to House Brasserie for our anniversary dinner. I can not begin to tell you how amazing our date night was. We were sat outside on the patio next to an unlit beautiful brick fireplace. There were small white votive candles lit in the fireplace and one on our table. There were soft white outdoor lights EVERYWHERE it felt so romantic and magical. As our waitress introduced herself another employee walked by and told us happy anniversary (they continued to do that most of the night and it was very thoughtful). I ordered a strawberry mojito mocktail not on the menu and it was delicious. He ordered a lemonade and they brought a sparkling lemon drink that he loved. While we looked over the menu they brought us complimentary cheese puffs, they were so crispy on the outside and fluffy/airy on the inside. We shared a charcuterie board to start, we licked that board clean it was so yummy, especially the honeycomb (for me) and olives (for him). I ordered the ribeye with mushrooms it came with turmeric mashed potatoes, he ordered the citrus lemon fried chicken which also came with turmeric mashed potatoes and a sweet glaze/syrup & slaw. He wasn’t crazy about the slaw. Everything was prepared perfectly my steak was medium well & his chicken was crispy/juicy. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese that was decent at dinner, if you do order it mix it up really good. I didn’t do that until I ate it as leftovers the next day and it was so delicious, had I done that at dinner I think I would’ve been impressed by the Mac & cheese more. I ordered a lemon cheesecake for dessert, they didn’t charge us for it since it was a special occasion which was really unexpected! Great service, great food and overall wonderful date night dinner experience at The House Brasserie.
Great for outdoor dining and special occasions. Excellent service.
Beautiful location, enjoyable evening, waitress a little pushy but otherwise a great experience. Will definitely be back!
I reeally like the place, food was really good, we enjoyed our meal.
Amazing place with great food and service
Excellent food. Our sever Cameron was
The branzino is fabulous. Beautiful courtyard outdoor seating with superb service! One of our stable favorites in the Phoenix area.
Tommy provided excellent service. Food was amazing. Ambience in the middle/back patio is fantastic for a great Arizona evening.
Dinner was delicious and service was the best!
However, we were seated next to a table of loud, obnoxious women who ruined the evening for everyone around their table. In fact the table next to us got up and indicated to us that they we’re going g home to have more wine and dessert.
I’m not sure how a restaurant handles this situation but it does tend to ruin the evening when you can’t visit with individuals at your own table because of other rude people.
Awesome! Staff is great and setting is so enjoyable...make plans to visit soon with your SO.
Our favorite restaurant in Old Scottsdale! Love the staff and the owner Joe.
Beautiful outdoor seating and great food. The chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert was amazing.
Great food and service with interesting flavor combinations. Highly recommend.
Food was awesome, service friendly but professional. An overall wonderful experience
Wonderful setting with great food. Modern American with Middle East influences. great balance. Good wine list from friendly to exorbitant, the whole range. All in all a great experience.
Great experience. Love the crabcake and the fried chicken!
Great food, good portion sizes for appetizers and entrees. $300 for dinner for 2 included 2 champagne drinks, dinner drinks, two appetizers, two filet mignons.
Excellent food, service and ambiance.
The ambiance was nice, the location was very clean and the food was great and the service was excellent .
We had a wonderful meal outside in the garden that is to the left of the house and it was beautiful and warm and very pleasant. We actually tried a lot of the different appetizers and salads and shared them they were all great. The crabcake, though expensive, was absolutely fantastic. Just loaded with Dungeoness crab. The gym salad was wonderful and we tried a couple more ab so we’re also great. We split the hamburger which I have to say was absolutely outstanding. Whatever mix they use for their meat is great and it was cooked to perfection, medium rare. For dessert we had a lemon ganache cheesecake and it was delicious. We were left to have a leisurely dinner and the service was excellent, not overbearing.
Beautiful setting but our server was very robotic and only told us the history of the restaurant when we were finished with our meal. Our food and appetizers were cold. We expected more for the prices. We were treated harshly when we unknowingly brought in a bottle of wine but expecting to pay a corkage fee. We were basically shamed by our server and the restaurant manager for bringing the bottle. Wine prices are ridiculously high. I will not go again.
The food was god awful and very noisy. Service was fair to good. Over priced for poor quality of food. Ordered the ribeye and worse I have ever had..
Every time I come here I am in awe of how amazing the food and the service is. I have never had anything that was not great here. The menu is seasonal and adapts to what is in season and fresh. This is the ribeye split in half with the turmeric mashed potatoes. The cocktails are top notch the bartenders will make or suggest anything you fancy. The patio is my happy place it makes me feel like I am in Europe. Great wine selection all available by the glass or bottle which is great when you want to try other types of wines.
We had such a nice dinner here. The service was fantastic. Our water glasses were always full, plates always cleared in a timely manner, and food/drinks were generally prompt. We had the chicken lettuce wraps to start- they were good. A little odd on the menu, but good. We then split the wedge and followed with the ribeye. The steak was initially more blue rare than med rare, but it happens. They quickly fixed it and it was delicious. We loved every bite. 5 stars for overall experience. My only real complaint would be the wine list prices, which were borderline absurd.
I proposed to my girlfriend / fiancé and the staff made ever accommodation possible and gave us the perfect combination of service and privacy. The food was nothing short of Amazing as well.
All the food and service was excellent. Dessert was insane good. Loved it. My 19 year old daughter loved it too and she is some what of a foodie.
Excellent meal and service in a terrific outdoor setting.
Love the food. Patio had a nice ambience. Amuse to start, cheeseboard, pork chop and fish and chips. All delicious. Our server, Tommy, was terrific and recommended an excellent wine. Looking forward to coming back.
The atmosphere was wonderful. We were visiting the area and wanted outdoor seating and this was quaint and lively at the same time. The menu is unique and we each ordered outside our box but enjoyed the flavors of these dishes. I wouldn’t say the food was exceptional but it was very flavorful and presented well.
Took my hubby here for his birthday. We had a nice seat outside in front of the fireplace. It would have been more romantic if the door wasn’t right there where the staff went in/out for food/drinks. There was also a bar cart with water pitchers and odds & ends parked there which took away from the cozy ambiance in my opinion.
The food was very good. We enjoyed some shishito peppers, gem & arugula salads, fried citrus chicken & the Branzino. Dessert was shared & we chose the brownie with caramel corn & scoop of homemade ice cream.
I have mixed feelings about this experience. The house is quaint & patio is lovely with string lights and other landscaped lighting. It’s really the perfect setting to enjoy food and friends. The drawback for me was the service. Most of the staff was in a hurry running this way and that. Our server was friendly at first but soon went cold & did bare minimum. It was just all very impersonal and not what I had expected from such a swanky location, quaint, vintage home with a highly rated chef.
Family birthday for the Hubs. All three of us loved it. Great food, service, ambiance.
Outdoor seating was excellent on this nice evening. Good was good but not great. Service was wonderful!
