Unique presentations on upscale ingredients. My favorite was the Oregon wild foraged mushrooms. I have never had anything like it. Outstanding!!!
The atmosphere was great! The food not so much. Citrus chicken was bland and still had a floury grit but the it was crispy. The crab fried rice was one note and tasted more like Spanish rice. We enjoyed the beef tartare.
Everything at The House is exceptional. The ambience is elegant and relaxing. The drinks and food are the best in Scottsdale. The wait staff and owner are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
A great place for a quiet, relaxing dinner, or to meet friends for drinks on the patio. A fun but chill vibe. A good variety of food choices (although they could use a few more vegan/vegetarian options), and great cocktails - the house strawberry lemonade is wonderful!
It was my friend’s 30th birthday dinner and she has never been here. She loved it. I always love The House - great service, great food. The chicken meatballs are delicious; salmon was fantastic. They also gave us a really good dessert that we couldn’t stop eating.
$70 steak came medium when we asked for medium-rare, would have been 5/5 if the steak had been cooked as asked. Pork chop was good but not very flavorful. Our favorites were the turmeric mashed potatoes and the Brussels sprouts starter.
My date and I went during restaurant week for a first time visit to The House Brasserie. We received an appetizer which was an arugula, strawberry, fig salad which was very tasty. For the entrée, my date ordered the steak marinated in a balsamic glaze with cooked carrots and horse radish cream sauce on the side. I got the scallops with a side of some kind of grain mixed with red beans marinated in a sweet sauce. Personally, I did not like my entrée. I ended up eating most of my dates meal, he had no problem eating mine. We finished the evening with a chocolate cookie and vanilla milkshake which was very delicious. All of this for $44 each. What a deal! The aesthetics of the restaurant is very cozy, quaint, and elegant. I wish it was cooler to sit outside because the patio was also very pretty.
We went to The House Brasserie for Restaurant Week and it was absolutely amazing from the staff through the meal. They were very attentive and the food was perfect! We chose the steak option which was presented with artistic flair and cooked perfectly. It was a very enjoyable evening!

Great service and excellent food. Although it is in old town, the House Brasserie is on a quiet street - you feel like you are eating dinner on a patio at a friend's house. Very nice ambiance makes for a very enjoyable evening. We are looking forward to having dinner there again in the near future.

We had the Restaurant Week menu for our first time at this restaurant. The food was magnificent. I had the flank steak which was the best combination of flavors I have ever hand for a flank steak. My wife had the scallops and loved them. Service was excellent and the atmosphere very nice. Other than the wine list being pricey, it was a truly enjoyable experience. We will be back

We sat at the bar and had great service there. They brought our entree before our salad so we sent the entree back. That was a mistake as it then took an hour to get our dinner and it wasn't very busy.
Overall, food was good but this service issue took away from an otherwise great night. The Manhattan is one of the best in town!
Great atmosphere, we ate on patio under tent. Service was slow but we understood their staff shortage just post pandemic. Food was good but potatoes were not temperature hot enough. Cauliflower dish was delicious but also not served hot enough. It's worth it to give them another try sometime.
The restaurant is in a very charming small yellow house with garden like outdoor area. We came here with friends for restaurant week and it was a nice overall dining experience. The service was good and tentative throughout the experience. Awesome cocktails! My husband, who is not fish/seafood eater, had the swordfish and he really enjoyed it. I had the steak and it was good, but nothing exceptional about it. Overall we enjoyed the experience and look forward to coming back to trying their regular menu soon!

When we stepped into this beautiful restaurant for my birthday date, we were ushered to an amazing patio surrounded by soft lighting, lush vegetation, and a giant pine reaching 100+ feet into the air - am I in Oak Creek Canyon?! The ambience was sophisticated and romantic without being stuffy. As the birds serenaded us and we were introduced to our waiter, we settled in for a long evening with wonderful service - attentive and never rushed. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful, describing dishes and unfamiliar items easily and allowing me to find just the right wine to enjoy. We loved the chicken lettuce cups - unique flavors - and the gem salad was refreshing and crisp. We shared the branzino (perfectly done) and foraged mushrooms (a bit too salty but yummy nonetheless), the atypical burger and the cauliflower side (both were an explosion of flavors). We finished with the creme brûlée which was smooth and rich. We loved everything we ordered.
We came back the next month with the whole family and a few friends to celebrate our son’s graduation from ASU. These were the kind of friends where everybody tries each other’s choices so we tasted a lot! If you go, try anything with cauliflower (I had the steak this time) - fish(newbies ordered the crab cake, scallops & apricot swordfish: all yum) - we raved about the the burger so that was ordered - still delish(and I eat mostly vegetarian)!
Additionally fantastic were the turmeric mashed potatoes, chicken fried rice & mac and cheese (gem lettuce salad & chicken lettuce wraps still great as well).
Seasonal cocktails (smoked manhattan, green lantern and mezcalito sour)were a hit too. I’m not really a fan of gin and even the green lantern was super fresh and yummy! Homemade ice cream malt was just so-so - Go for the lemon cheesecake.

We had a wonderful business dinner here. The service was great and the patio seating was perfect. Everybody ordered different items on the menu but all was equally enjoyed and plates were clean. Definitely recommend

We had a last minute reservation and we’re glad they could squeeze us in. We arrived on time and were seated on a quite busy patio. This was not what we expected but we had a very nice time and a good meal.

I wanted to find a great spot to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and I’m so glad I found House Brasserie. We LOVED this place. The ambiance and decor were outstanding, and the service excellent. Amazing food as well. We will definitely be back!
Service provided by Emily and other staff was excellent. The outdoor seating had a nice atmosphere with the trees and lighting. The pork chop was well prepared. There is not much parking available at the restaurant, so arrive a few minutes early.
This is my first time visiting and I loved the whole experience. I will visit again.

They might sound ordinary, but they are kicked up a notch with flavors! The chef has so much imagination when using spices. It is really a treat.
The House Brasserie was such a perfect place to get the night started for our bachelorette party. It is not super crazy, more toned down, romantic vibes with a lot of outdoor lighting. Very pretty! The owner (apologies, I am blanking on his name!) was magnificent and took care of us the entire night, was very attentive and had a surprise champagne order from the bride's fiancé ready to go when we got there. The whole experience - from reservations to paying the check - was easy peasy and the service and food was excellent. 100% recommend!!!
