The House Brasserie
Wonderful meal. We had Branzino and the halibut cheeks. Both had great flavor & texture. Our server recommended an excellent wine which paired well with the fish. Ambiance on the patio was very relaxed. We enjoyed drinks beforehand at the bar inside which was frankly a lot fun.
Great dinner tonight, everything was delicious from the chicken meatballs to the salmon! Tried the crab leg appetizer, oh my gosh, could have that everyday! Love the cozy ambiance and the twinkle lights, plus the bartenders specialize in craft cocktails. Wonderful experience!
Thanksgiving Dinner. Our waiter had to ask twice what drink I ordered and sent a helper to ask for the third time..
I requested additional gravy that was never delivered.
Went to Brassererie for Thanksgiving dinner and was very disappointed. First of all, the three course menu for a traditional turkey dinner was ridiculously overpriced. $44 got you a small serving of turkey and a couple of sides, all of which arrived lukewarm. Appetizers and dessert were a la carte and similarly skimpy and overpriced. Service was so bad it was comical. Maybe this place does better on non-holidays but I’ll never know since I’m never going back.
This restaurant was not prepared for the volume they took reservations for.Serving the nightly menu along with the special Thanksgiving menu was too much.
The menus were cold and ill prepared for the money..the taste were no where near close to the descriptions.
Our server was fantastic otherwise we probably would have..
A Thanksgiving meal is hard enough to prepare for the public, so do it correctly next time or do a prefix menu you can keep up with and that you can prepare off the hot line , not a 8ft table in back
The service was horrible. After waiting over an hour for food it came out cold. Way overpriced and the waitress didn’t seem to really care. The table next to us came in 30 min after us and before we even got our food we’re paying their check.
The "tent" was set up in the parking lot to accommodate Thanksgiving guests. The personnel was aloof to rude. The food was mildly warm to cold. The quantity was spartan, went away hungry. The price was high for the amount and quality of the food; small glass of wine for $15.00 Our bill arrived (two people) for $292.00 which was someone else's bill. It took a bit of time to rearrange the bill. No one thanked us for coming and the whole experience was unpleasant.
Holiday dinner; seated in a tent that smelled like a blowup mattress; unapologetically served our appetizers, salads, and entrees at the same time; they offered to keep them under a heat lamp; later brought them back burnt; waiter blamed it on the kitchen. This is probably a nice place when it’s not busy; they do not have it together for busy periods. Waste of $550 for 3 people. Very disappointing.
I definitely would recommend the House Brasserie anytime BUT Thanksgiving
Having previously had dinner with this restaurant I was expecting a similar experience. Unfortunately the food was simply not up to par. I ordered a prime ribeye that was charred on the outside (to an extreme degree) and full of inedible fat. Typically the fat renders if the meat is of sufficient quality and cooked properly. It’s the first time I’ve ever had a ribeye that I didn’t like, and for $68 no less.
The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The ambiance outside was also nice. I just wish the food (the main part of the experience!) was up to snuff.
Great patio and ambiance to enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather. The food is always solid and there is a great mix of items on the menu for any taste. The price is a little more than most other restaurants in the area but on par with some of the higher-end restaurants in town.
Excellent service and super yummy food!
Patio was beautiful and our birthday girl felt super special!
beautiful place. The servers were backed up at the bar. Appeared to just have one bartender and it took 20 mins. to get a taste of wine to see if we would get bottle.
Our server was delightful, food AMAZING . .they perhaps needed a second bartender on this Sat night tho.
Awesome place to entertain. Smoked patron piedra old fashions. Wow.
We went to The House Brasserie wanting to find our new favorite restaurant. We had a 9 pm reservation and we’re seated right away. We sat outside on a very nice evening, not too hot or cold, and the string lights, furniture and plants lends itself to a feeling of eating in the garden. We were created by a waiter almost immediately and given a few minutes to browse the menu before ordering drinks. Two specialty cocktails from their menu took almost 15 minutes to arrive. Dry aged filet mignon being at the top of our list to try, we ordered this as well as bison bolognese. The steak was atrocious....we ordered medium the delivered temperature was probably medium well and it was extremely tough and dry. The sauces and accoutrements were delicious. The bolognese on the other hand was all around yummy if slightly oily. We attempted to reorder the same specialty cocktail and were informed that they ran out of ingredients for it. One of our dinner companions had the salmon and crab fried rice both of which they gave rave reviews. All in all I would give this restaurant a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars
Fabulous restaurant in every way, one of the really great patios we have been on and food and service was excellent. Great surprise and a real find
Ate there two years ago and had a stellar experience and this time through recommended to friends at meeting we attended. We went together. slooooow service for a sloooow night so there was hardly an excuse. Food came out messy and way salty....both fish and steak. Not appealing to the eye or stomach and a disappointment.
Coulda been a blip on the radar, though I have my doubts. Hope they improve.
We met friends for dinner at The House Brasserie on a Wednesday night. The ambiance was wonderful with low lighting and low noise levels. The food was expensive but delicious! It was a wonderful evening!
We had a great night! Started off at the bar, the guys behind the bar were super fun! Then we moved to a lovely table outside for an amazing dinner! Fantastic food and service all the way around!
Food was cold. Service was slow. Overall very overpriced
Exceptional! Service is over the top. The food could be so so and the service is so good you wouldn’t even notice. The food is not so so - it’s exceptional- the chef is really working it! Go! Have fun! Tommie is the best!! Vallet across the street. No excuse not to go.
Tommy served us very well
Amazing experience! Food was outstanding and so was the service!
The main dish was so over engineered that the individual flavours were lost. The steak sauce was salty and thick and hard to avoid on the steak. The dish was also cold and it seemed had been sitting for a while. Pretty disappointing.
We have been going to House Brasserie since it opened. It has suddenly gone down hill. First, the price increases are ridiculous. We live half the year in Manhattan and top steak houses there are less expensive! second, my salmon was cold, not warm but cold, and it was over cooked to a dry center. We won't be going back
A must for me when in scottsdale Food is great, service as well. Love the amibance
We were in Scottsdale for the week and loved House Brasserie so much we went twice!
Love that patio. It is a perfect place to enjoy a wonderful meal.
Birthday for my adult daughter. This was indicated on the original Open Table reservation. No one seemed to be aware of this fact. Service started out to be attentive but slowed down before the end of dinner service. Would not go there again.
Awesome best ever
Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Our sever was very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Fish, steak, and pork chops all delicious. We enjoyed dining outside....great ambiance. Highly recommend.
Great service!! Very attentive! Great food! Nice atmosphere.
Great food and a most beautiful evening to sit outside.
Wonderful service !
We have been going here for years and this was the first time we were very disappointed. Food was just okay, service was slow when I happened, prices were very high and overall we were disappointed. The patio remains beautiful, but it's just not the same place. Too bad, it used to be very special.
Great family ambiance / classic restaurant . Entres better then appetizers
First time there - loved it. Had dinner on the patio; the server was fabulous as was the food.
We had a reservation and wanted to be seated outside. The customers at the table ahead of us lingered so the bartender gave us free drinks and then the owner gave us a free crab leg appetizer. The service was outstanding and the ambiance is out of this world. We love the House Brasserie for celebrating our birthdays!
This might have been the best food my wife and I have ever had. An absolutely amazing experience.
Lovely place for a date very romantic and the service was excellent. I will definitely come back.
