The Hotel Frankfort & Restaurant
Our craft cocktails, robust local beer selections and extensive wine list are second to none. Come take a look at our unique Olde World Wine Cellar and pick out one of the premiere wines of the world in our Gift Shoppe!
Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. It was an enjoyable dinner with friends
Nice place, but food wasn't worth the high prices. Expected more from this restaurant and ended up disappointed.
The food was overpriced for what was served. The food was NOT fresh! The seafood bisque was horrible!!! It tasted/smelt like dead, old carp. The service was ok, but drinks ran dry several times. I do not recommend this place. So many better restaurants in Frankfort.
A nice gem of a dining room, hiding in plain sight on Main St. The four of us had lovely meals of fresh perch, wall-eye, and blue gill. The service was typical of late season Northern Michigan when short staffing leads to variability in experience, but overall, it was adequate. We loved the calmness of the dining room.
Bartender was really nice and made a great cocktail. The other servers were not attentive. We had water, coffee, and bottomless mimosas that never got refilled. The food was ok but one person at our table found hair in the french toast and again in the granola on her yogurt. They were different hairs and were really embedded in the food. It makes me question the cleanliness. I did enjoy the sriracha chicken.
I've been to holiday buffets here and have loved it. I'm hoping it was just an off day.
The food was good however my sister trimmed a lot of grissle out of her steak and the chicken Boursin was a bit dry. Our waiter Jon was exceptional. The raspberry rum drink was really delicious
We enjoyed good food, great service and wonderful quaint ambiance! Food was served quickly and server didn’t rush us!
The Hotel Frankfort & Restaurant is a friendly, charming place to dine with excellent food. I try to visit whenever I stop at Jacobson Marina Resort in Frankfort.
The Hotel Frankfort Restaurant, located right in the middle of Main St., offers a nice variety of menu options. The peel and eat shrimp was quite tasty and the shrimp were good sized. The drinks from the bar are good pours and the Manhattan was very good, made with a local Traverse City bourbon. Jennifer was an excellent server, very attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant was pretty much full when we were seated, so quite loud, but once it cleared out half way it was a very enjoyable atmosphere. We would return.
Frankfort hidden gem. John the chef does killer real Maryland crab cakes. No adulteration with veggies. Just crab mayo and sods cracker crumbs. Wow. That would rate 5 stars on its own. I tried the woodland pasta last year. Amazing. Couldn't finish it. Great specials. People are discovering it. With the loss of Coho, it is one of the best choices in Frankfort.
Just had Thanksgiving dinner here & it was delicious! Tons of side dishes that were new to us & great. Turkey & pork loin were fantastic.
I was there at the end of the season and dining quite late, so it was very quiet, but the service was very friendly and the food was both good value and tasty.
Had dinner and brunch at Hotel Frankfort while staying there on a recent weekend. The staff is attentive, kind, and very helpful. The food was tasty, though not knock your socks off wonderful/once in rare find. The brunch buffet had plenty of good, well prepared brunch and lunch staples, and both the made to order omelette and waffle stations were much appreciated - lots of variety for omelette fillings and waffle toppings! What they do, they do well.
Our meal was overdone and just warm. My husband had ribs and they were dried out. I had fish and it was overdone as well.
The entire staff was very accommadating. Our party grew in size after I made the reservation. They went out of there way to find us a larger area. Joel is a great waiter and has a spicy sense of humor. What a great way to celebrate my parents 61st anniversary
