Have driven to this Restaurant all the way from Northumberland many times now and never been disappointed. Possibly my absolute favourite restaurant. Perfect blend between fine food and exemplary service. Cannot recommend highly enough. There are also rooms to rent if you want to stay over.

Nous étions à 4 et c'était super. Entrée et plat excellents. Nous étions juste surpris par l'odeur en rentrant dans le restaurant une odeur de gasoil dans le salon, mais cela nous a pas gêné le reste de la soirée c'était super sympa et on y reviendra

Had a fantastic evening at the Horseshoe Inn. Food was wonderful, a great wine choice...maybe a bit more top end for most, but well managed/selected. We look forward to the next time we go back back!!

Excellent value with the £25 Sunday lunch menu. The staff were very attentive and everything was cooked to a good standard and presented immaculately. More gravy and green veg and less meat with the roast dinner would have made it perfect!

My wife and I went for Sunday lunch and both chose the Sirloin roast dinner. One Sirloin was perfect but the other contained pipes and fat and was not as acceptable. The excellent selection of unusual vegetables were very a la dente which suited one party but was not to the taste of the other. The portions were very large so my wife was unable to finish either her starter or her main course. The service was exemplary and the ambience great. Overall there was some dissatisfaction which given the overall cost, including drinks, did not give really good value for money. I think if you are going to give a different service e.g. the vegetable selection, you should check whether a la dente vegetables are to every one's taste just as you would with the meat course

The food is truly magnificent . The best meal I have had in along time from the start the canapes , fresh homemade bread and butter, to the Wow factor for the main , desserts and cheese at the end . Amazing food , the chef is a genius and I am not easy pleased.
