   Been here a few times the food is normally great but had the roast for the first time and the meats were quite fatty and the menu was smaller then normal !

   Sadly the service was slow. A table next to us had waited two hours (no not joking) for their mains and when asked if they wanted desserts needless to say after still waiting for their mains they lost it. The food service needs to be much more cohesive One server to one table section One responsibility Staff need to be trained properly No one should be looking around or on their phones All waiting staff should be clearing, serving or cleaning; there is never not something to be done in and effective restaurant

   Nice pub, great seating outside, pets friendly to sit outside. Went for Sunday lunch. Apart from choices of roast the rest of menu poor. So if you don’t like Sunday roast, go other days of the week. Not great value for money, food was very average for what you pay. For us it is handy pub as we can walk there and everyone can have a drink.

   We booked the Horse & Groom for a friends birthday, but quite honestly i wished i had gone elsewhere. It was like a staff canteen rather than a restaurant, the noise there you could hardly hear yourself. The menu wasn't what I expected, nothing special the usual burgers, steak & chips. Plus why is it that all vegetables now seem to be barely cooked, just because it's fashionable, I hate it! The price was quite reasonable but I don't think we will be returning. Very poor, I have been to much better pub restaurants with a better menu.

   What a pity this pub/restaurant has changed hands, they appear to have firgotten what makes for an enjoyable dining experience - good food and efficient service. The good was OK but lacking flair and flavour and, in this case the ability to cook risotto. The service was terrible. 30 minute before getting our starters (and that needed promoting) and another 45 for the mains (again prompted). Good job it wasn’t busy, they expect the table back within a 2 hour window. Would we return, definitely not, far too many places that do value their customers. What a pity, this was a good place to visit.

   Booked a table for 2 didn't get seating till 2:20 couldn't have the stars I'm just because it was getting too late and we had to leave disappointed as it was my sister in laws birthday and I was going to do something with a candle but I didn't get to do it but never mind overall the service was good bit slow you had to keep calling them if you needed anything dinner was absolutely lovely can't thought that I think some of it is a bit over priced specially for a roast dinner but I do recommend a food

    Food was lovely. But service was very slow. Had to keep chasing drinks and food . Had a lovely evening though Nice busy pub / restaurant. Would definitely recommend
