   Noisy bar, no choice on menu, served raw food - overpriced, ruined our anniversary meal

   The Hopton was friendly and warming, loved it. Feedback would be room 1, gorgeous room with the smallest bed - why not a Super King and our room would have been super perfect. Food absolutely outstanding - can’t fault it. Shame the dining room was dark and dingy, easily fixed with lamps and table candles and perhaps a fire. Chairs are not comfortable at all and it’s a shame as I would have liked to stayed for dessert. Just feedback and definitely not a complaint - thank you for having us and we would absolutely stay again.

   Small menu choice, but something for everyone and good quality. Pleasant staff and food arrived in reasonable time.

   Both breakfast and evening meal was excellent. We can totally recommend it to all. We recently had a meal in a very well known restaurant in Padstow and the Hopton Crown exceeded them by miles both in taste, quantity and price. We will book again when back in the area

   Great find in country village. Warm clean rooms with very comfy beds. Breakfast and Dinners well presented and tasty. Good beer. Staff attentive polite and helpful. Good location for South Shropshire towns and countryside. We will be back.
