Hook and Line is a favorite restaurant of ours. The welcome is always friendly and on this occasion as always food and service were great.

Really enjoyed our lunch, the set lunch was excellent value for money. They gave my wife a sweet treat for her birthday which was a lovely touch and much appreciated by my wife. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous and delicious local independent seafood and rum joint. Used its own boats to provide flapping fresh fish. Defo recommend ! And the Painkiller cocktail with Pussers Rum is delish.

Well, for a while we were the only ones there but our stoic host entertained us with great enthusiasm so it didn’t matter! Food was excellent and a good time was had by all (4) of us. This is an excellent establishment and I’m sure it will be busy nearer Christmas and every evening!

A lovely friendly and welcoming venue. The staff can't do enough for you, the food is exceptional. I would suggest that if you like fish and seafood, plus Rum and or cocktails, you book a table and try it! The menu choices are unique and the chefs are masterful in making the humble fish taste amazing, without breaking the bank account.

A good menu, the fish was very dependable as usual. The Scallops are DELICIOUS, every time I visit I always order them. Good service, a great Christmas tree.

Dreadful meal and poor service. Ordered a starter of 5 scallops, dish arrived with 3 scallops. Ordered Fish and chips, but fish batter was pale and insipid and chips under cooked. Catch of the day main meal was small in size and cost £25, which wasn’t stated on the menu. Offered free desserts, but as we’d waited 90mins for meals declined but only offered 2 free glasses of wine. No mid meal check up. Asked for some bread to soak up the sauce, which arrived 20 mins later to be presented with some rock hard, burnt garlic bread. Have visited twice before and had lovely experiences. Sadly, not this time. Won’t be visiting again or recommending.
