   Third time visiting. Everything we ordered was sold out. Huge wait between courses and 45 minute wait after asking for the bill. Very disappointed this time so won’t be back.

   Lovely little restaurant, think the hole between bar and restaurant could be filled in for more peaceful dining. Other than that food and service good.

   Service was fine overall but staff seemed to be very busy with take-aways and I felt the normal restaurant service suffered. We had to wait over one hour for our meal to arrive.

   We booked online. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and were promptly shown to our table. The menu selection was very good and the waitress was both pleasant and efficient. Overall a great eating experience.

   Restaurant full. Popular spot but obvious why when you taste the food. Kitchen was getting a hammering and made a small mistake but were so polite about it. Great chef owns this restaurant and puts his heart into the food.

   The Holestone is a favourite - we’ve never been let down by the service or food. The waiting staff are always lovely, the food is always amazing, and it’s such a cozy place with a comfortable atmosphere. Would always recommend it to friends/family in the area.

    If you haven’t made it to The Holestone yet, you are missing out! The food is to die for, the service is impeccable and when I asked just for a “fruity mock tail” Glenn whipped up something which I am still thinking about and dying to get back in to you all again!
