   Hilltop is aways wonderful. It is a neighbor gem and always busy. My salad was powerfully flavorful, and the service is always outstanding and person.

   Everything was great! Our server could not have been better! She was friendly, prompt, and attentive. She kept our coffee cups filled! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We sat in the patio/porch area. Wow!

   The Hilltop is always excellent. From the appetizers to entrees to drinks, consistently superb. We usually get a dinner entree or sandwich + fries or salad but last evening I had their clam chowder with home made corn bread. Another excellent choice! And if you haven't had their onion rings you've missed out on "best in town" and better than the State Fair.

   Service was great. Our server was attentive, but we did not feel rushed. We were happy to be seated in the sunroom/patio as the other part of the restaurant was quite noisy. Food was great, as usual.

   I dined here with a friend on Tuesday evening. Highlights were cocktails and service. However the food top to bottom was bad. We got the pretzel appetizer. The beer cheese didn’t taste good. She got a burger and I got the tuna melt. I could only eat half. It tasted sour. We shared the oatmeal cookie pie and that was almost inedible. It tasted like raw granola on a plate. I haven’t left a review this bad anywhere in a long time. To make matters worse I was sick for over 24 hours. Something wasn’t right with the tuna I’m sure. I had not eaten anything else that day. I had heard such great things and was looking forward to dining there. It was really disappointing.

    I have been enjoying the Hilltop Restaurant for many decades and under many different names for and iterations of this restaurant. Under the same ownership and management for over 40 years, the restaurant has grown and evolved with the times and has served many generations of families throughout Edina and the surrounding area. Staff is professional, friendly, and helpful on many levels, and will always go the extra mile for their customers. Aloha to the Hilltop Restaurant.
