   We chose this restaurant because it was adjacent to our hotel or pleasantly surprised with the food service and ambience. Went for dinner and are planning to go back again for lunch. Very nice experience.

   Our server was great and attentive. The sushi was just okay but I guess that could have been assumed. The steak sandwich and burgers were delicious. The calamari was on the saltier side but the dips it came with were pretty good.

   Came here for our Anniversary and our waitress was well knowledgeable about the menu and recommended our drinks and food which was delicious. Victor the Manager was very attentive and we were surprised with a nice chilled glass of complimentary champagne. If you are ever in the Weehawken neighborhood definitely try out The Highwood.

    Jacques was a great host, he had a rage section and was still very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. Manager was nice as well. Would definitely return in the future.
