Food is centered round an old fireplace where local quality produce is cooked over fire. From the team that own The Empire Cafe.

We had Sunday lunch and everything was perfect. Will definitely be back soon to try more of the excellent food on offer.

Amazing food and lovely friendly service from Elis. Think he could do with some help on a busy Friday though. Too much for one person. 😁

The food and service are really good. We started with oysters, then moved on to a few small plates. I had Madeleines with langoustine and clams on bread in a bisque. Everything was really well judged and on point. Sometimes bisques are too strong and overpower everything, but it was the just the right amount of kick. The staff are on it without being stuffy. And the cocktail menu looks brilliant. Wasn't drinking that night so didn't try it. Will definitely go back to try the cocktails and other parts of the menu.

Second visit in as many months, love it- beautiful space, gorgeous food, relaxed atmosphere and brilliant service. Highly highly recommend, but also worried it’ll get too booked up I won’t be able to go

Fantastic place Food was exceptionally good. All staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. Love the place will definitely be going back.

Truly truly outstanding offering here, Oysters out of this world, the variety of dishes we tried were nothing short of taster menu style dining..ambiance and service impeccable. Will return 100%

Incredible food, if you don’t like rare meat (or are pregnant) ask for it to be cooked a little more. Personally I loved it how it comes - the gratin is enough for 2… treat yourself to a scotch egg! Unreal! Really nothing I can fault, if your coming with someone older let them know though as some of the seating is high I’d say 20% or so. I only say this so people aren’t disappointed if they go and it’s too busy to get a seat that suits them. A mix of clientele but really nice and felt welcoming, our server was great! Didn’t catch her name but had a fantastic hats on and a great personality. They do oysters which I really wanted to try but my sister would have walked out if I ordered it to the table, I’ll be back for some though!
