despite dining many times here, had not been for Sunday lunch. Worth visiting - generous portion - had roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings. server came around with additional helpings of Yorkshire pudding/roast potatoes but had to decline as struggling to complete original serving. particularly liked the jug of gravy that came with it. carrots/parsnips were delicious even if hidden underneath the meat. offered a choice of well done or slightly pink beef and both were delicious. washed down with a really nice glass of white wine and finished with a tasty coffee. happy to recommend.

Enjoyed our three-generational family dinner despite very loud crowded Saturday night. Excellent mains sea bass special and cod; steak was average slightly greasy, olive and roasted pepper hummus starter underwhelming and not valid for money. Friendly attentive service. Would go back but book earlier and get a bigger table in middle section of the restaurant.

Stunning premises. Beautiful food could not say a bad thing. Service was incredible also. We will definitely be back. 100 percent recommend.

Service was great and the food was mainly ok but expensive for portion size, and sides are very expensive. Also mini chocolate brownie was underbaked and the accompanying cream tasted off, but despite telling the staff, there was no deduction from the bill. Ambience was nice, but didn’t feel it was value for money.

weekday night out to try out new menu/specials as fancied fish! mains of pork belly with mash and sea bream, pak choi and side of new potatoes were just the job. washed down with a glass of Viognier and Chenin blanc, finished off with coffee, it was a good experience. It was a really warm evening so many were sitting outside dining but we chose to be indoors which was light on people but the music meant noise level was what created ambience. overall an enjoyable experience and plenty of other menu choices left to return for.

Lovely lunch. Husband enjoyed his pork belly and the shepherds pie is always good. Mum finished off her chicken schnitzel with relish. Our server was great too - young lady, long black hair - she was polite, helpful, friendly and prompt.
