    To be fair, this is a brunch rating (not lunch/dinner). You MUST offer bread at brunch (they do offer biscuits), but no bread/toast :( Don't get tricked by the Banana Bread French Toast; it's tasty and sweet but its banana bread in French disguise (not real bread). Mimosa's were tasty, wait service was not on point and it was not crowded. She did have a LOT of tables all around the room, they could have been short-staffed. Weird GPS drive up - thought I was ending up in someone's backyard with a BBQ pit and some picnic tables - quite the opposite, it is a hidden indoor/outdoor restaurant in the middle of urban housing. I'm betting the ribs, BBQ and lunch would be better but was happy they were on OpenTable for an emergency Mother's Day booking.

    The food and service was absolutely amazing. Please get the crab dip!!! The wings were also terrific and the tables have a selection of sauces that are very tasty! 🤤 This place really is a hidden jewel!

    Family dinner - six people. Seated immediately even though it was pretty crowded. Server was funny and personable. Food was great. We love it here.

    The service and the food was excellent!! Zac was wonderful! I would say that our table was not wiped down prior to us grunt seated, however we had to wait a few minutes to be seated because our table was being prepared. Also where we were seated, cars were backing up extremely close to our table. I think that there probably shouldn’t have been a table set up in that area within the parking lot

    I loved the outdoor seating. The impromptu set up is just rustic enough to feel casual but nice. I had the crab dip and wings and they both were perfect! The day before I ordered to go and the Brussel Sprouts were amazing as usual.

    Our server was very kind and wonderful! While we had to wait on some things, you could tell this was purely due to them balancing the newness of outdoor dining requirements due to covid. The food was delicious and we felt it was affordable. We will definitely be back again, even though we don’t live super close by.

    Have always enjoyed the food and experience at the Hideaway. The recently opened outdoor only dining was just as good as pre Covid. Felt very comfortable and safe dining there. Highly recommend.

    Very good BBQ. 1st time there, I intend to return. The pit master came out to ask about the meal. Very nice. The wings were excellent, enjoyed the beef brisket.

    Not impressed. Layout seems an after thought. Tables and booths uncomfortable. Service was ok, but the place is loud (bar area). Our menu item's, beef and chicken were not bad, however, they were a bit dry. Sides were small and lacked flavor. Parking can be an issue, so be prepared.

    If you're in the mood for some good barbeque, this is the place. When trying to decide where to go on Valentine, I chose a spot that didn't appear romantic BUT my wife & I really wanted ribs. Our visit was the day after Valentine and it was messy outside from an snow/ice storm. A perfect time to visit. Our waitress, Madison, was awesome. She was friendly, attentive & informative. My wife ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and that was the biggest 1/2 rack I'd seen. She said it was good but wasn't "fall-off-the-bone" type. I had a NY strip which was good but not outstanding. The prices weren't bad (moderate). As for the restaurant, it is country rustic and warm. Plenty of space so you're not too close to other patrons. The most interesting thing is the name fits the place. It's slightly off the beaten pathway. You almost feel like you're in the backwoods and away from the hustle & bustle.

    Made reservation for February 13 for 4 people for 6:00 pm. Once we got there at 6 the front lady told me my reservation was for 6:30, so I check my reservation time on my phone and I was right it was for 6. Well she took us to a table in a creepy room at the end of the restaurant, ugly room. I wasnt impressed with the food at all. The only good thing was the service, the waitress was very nice and that creepy room was crowded and she gave us a good service despite she was by herself serving the bar and the people on the tables.

    very nice dinning establishment tucked away in a back street neighborhood in Odenton. I was pleasantly surprise at the innovative menu selection. very nice variety of items with good selections to chose from. Drink menu was very affordable and priced appropriately. Food was fantastic.

    The Hideaway has been discovered! Busy place but you wouldn't know it from the quality, attentive service we received. The food was incredible from appetizers, to dinner to dessert! We love this restaurant and will remain loyal customers!

    The best pulled pork I've had ... EVER! Lauren, our waitress, was a gem. So welcoming and warm. She mentioned that the owner is Bob. Bob, great food, great service - congratulations!

    The food was cold. I got the pulled pork sandwich (the ultimate I believe they call it) and it had pieces of hard pork chunks. Not exactly pulled pork like I was expecting. The fries were below average. Service was slow and they weren't even busy. Prices were okay. The place needs updating inside. The bar does not match the rest of the restaurant. Highly disappointed.

    Accurately named, the Hideway is tucked away in Odenton. but man what a find.. first visit.. Went with wife and 4 kids, we all had something different and all the food was terrific. Get the Old Bay wings.. could make a meal of it, they are that good. Karaoke night on Friday.. Everyone wants to know when we are going back.

    Wings are fantastic. Great variety of deserts. Brussel sprouts and collard greens are always our go-to. Bar service is great but dining room staff could use little training. You can tell owner is passionate and attentive to diners during his rounds

    Third time here and we will keep coming back. Best brisket in the area, bar none. Excellent pulled pork. Owner comes to each table to make sure everything is okay. Not easy to find, but well worth the effort.

    Best BBQ in DMV area. Owner very friendly and came out to ask about our food. He was trained with pitmaster in South Carolina for over ten years. Great food and generous portions. Wanted to try the dessert but was too full. Next time!
