My friend and I really enjoyed our meals at the Hershey Bistro. I had Grandma’s meatloaf which was outstanding! I never would have thought to put Swiss cheese and sautéed onions and mushrooms on meatloaf but it was a taste sensation paired with the bbq sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus! Also delicious was the cookies and cream chocolate cream pie for dessert. The Hershey Bistro has a lovely ambience and it felt cozy on a cool fall evening. Our server was friendly and her timing was spot on! I will return and will recommend to others.

Excellent service and friendly staff. We stopped here before a show at the Hershey Theater, and we were seated quickly. The food was delicious.

Went for the prime rib. Looked nothing like the pictures nor explained it would be smoked and grilled. Will not be back for dinner.

Due to a very large party going on in the back room we could not talk at a normal level at our table. Only one waitress for the big party and three small tables like ours, which made our wait for food extra long, no asking if we needed drink refills, no bread, food was warm,not hot, no how is everything, took way longer than ever before to get our check. I know the waitress was over worked and short on help. Next visit I will ask for front room if party is happening again in the back room. I wish the manager would have asked how we were enjoying our dinner.

Loved my salad. Tomatoes and spinach very fresh and the grilled chicken was ample and just right. Got seated right away and food came out quickly. We were in/out within 50 minutes.

When my mother ordered fish fry for mothers day lunch she was very disappointed that it didn't come with fries. I mean traditionally, fish fries come with fries. Also the macaroni and cheese tasted like it came out of a can. My Reubens sandwich was nothing to write home about either. Also would have been nice to hear about any specials on the menu. We were never told that. What a shame....

Their in house BBQ is very good. I had the general lee, that I enjoyed. The fried pickles were great. The sandwiches are excellent as are the specials. Finish off with a brownie sundae!

This restaurant was recommended to me by a relative who has been dining there for years. She has been raving about it, and the only reason my wife and I didn't go sooner is because we don't live in the immediate area. So, we finally went and met four other friends there. Wow, what a pleasant surprise for us! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Great service and moderately priced. I would highly recommend the exotic mushroom soup, and any one of their smoked meat sandwiches and entrees. I had the Boston cream pie for dessert. It was amazing. And we liked the fact that is BYOB. Go!

The place was nice. The prices were good. The service was good. The food was average to below average. It was prime rib night and my husband got a piece that had more fat than meat. The other meals were ok. The appetizers and sides were very good.

We made late reservation and got right in. The prime rib was great. We were lucky to get our food just before the power went off due to storm. Always happy with them.

Had to wait a while for service as there was only 1 server working. Our food was ok. I got the breaded haddock sandwich and the fish was tiny, like 3 bites, and it was over fried and very dry. The bun was crispy and hard. My husband got the brisket sandwich and said it was ok, nothing special. My dessert was the orange/pineapple/coconut cake- very dry and tasted nothing of those 3 flavors. It tasted like dry vanilla cake with cool whip frosting. The boston cream pie was good though, as were the french fries. I’m not going to be rushing back anytime soon.

We go to The Bistro almost daily. We enjoy the food, the staff and the service. There is a point of poor quality. The home fries with breakfast are FREQUENTLY very over cooked particularly on Monday and Tuesday. This would seem to be easily fixed with some instructions from management.

Restaurant kept running out of items on the menu. First it was a side, then a meat. Most of the desserts were also out and I heard waitress list several other items on menu that they were out of including the mushroom soup. I think my husband got the last cup. Ladies restroom was also out of service. We ate here a year ago when visiting and loved it but this time was a disaster . Also very cold in the restaurant. We won’t be going back
