Very good food and service. Excellent value, especially the wine. Will come back.

Our evening at The Hero Ranch Kitchen was superb. We shared two "share plates", a salad, an entree mushroom rissotto, and dessert. All five dishes were creative, wonderful taste combinations. Our server, Edward, was knowledgeable, helpful, and charming. On learning we were celebrating an anniversary, he brought us champagne - a very nice touch to end a perfect evening.

Had a couple drinks at the bar. Enjoyed my drinks and bartender was friendly and nice.
When we sat at our table. Server went over the menu. We had ordered an appetizer. When we were done. Took a while for her to come around again to get our order in for our food. When we did put our order in. It did come out on time. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly.
The restaurant was packed and really loud. Kind of hard to have a conversation with one another.

Fantastic experience, as usual!

The food is eclectic and tastefully presented. A good variety to choose from. Could do with a few more vegetarian options as it was a bit limiting for vegetarians.
A definite go-to place for a classy high end dinner which could be either shared small plates or entrees .

Was my second visit here in three weeks. Missed out a second serving of Asparagus salad, so if you have a dish you like, go back quickly, because it could disappear! The food is so good- the one consistent I heard was "Mmmmmm" each time someone tasted their dish! Audible from the table next to me and the next table after that!! Definitely worth a visit.

Delish!!! Our waiter and food service was amazing and the food was spectacular! Flavor of the dishes was unreal. The restaurant is quaint and comfy. The wait outside during a storm with no offer of drinks was the only negative...but even that was well worth it. I don’t know if there was drink service outside, maybe not. So don’t pay that part much weight. We will be back!

This was our 2nd time visiting the Hero Ranch. The meal was amazing. The Pork Chop was the best meal ever. Highly recommend this establishment.

We LOVE the apps and salads so much that we’ve yet to get to the entrees. Each time we come, we usually start with 4-6 apps then end with 2 of their delectable salads and wash everything down with a bottle of Duckhorn. A meal at Hero Ranch Kitchen always reminds us that ‘Life is Good’ ... Good Food, Good Service, Good Times!! Five stars out of 5, overall!

Excellent service. Food was very fresh and refined. It would be great to see a more variety of ingredients as couple of the dishes had similar flavor and ingredients. Also the hamachi was sliced so thinly that we could hardly taste it,..although it was beautifully prepared.
Overall a wonderful dining experience and we will be back :)

We’ve been before but brought our friends and they can’t wait to go back! Every dish we had was absolutely delicious!

We live in Menlo Park so it’s a destination but so well worth it!

Drinks and hors d'oeuvres came recommended by the waitress and were Excellent.
Upon arrival we were seated immediately at an outside table.
Very comfy with the heater and nice ambiance.
The presentation was beautiful and the food delicious.
The service was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

The corn chowder and octopus were amazing, as was the service! Even with a reservation there was a wait and it was loud inside, but otherwise we loved it and can’t wait to return!

Great food, great drinks - wine was very fairly priced and cocktails too. Came away feeling as if it’s a perfect place for a fun night out with very interesting choices, none bad.

Still our "go to" restaurant in the valley. Wine prices are a real bargain.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. The corned bread fried chicken dish is super yummy. Our server was very attentive and sweet. Coming back here for sure.

We were seated by the door, so it was drafty and cold. Tables are tightly packed so you feel like you’re sharing a table with your neighbors. Food was good, but the overall experience not worth the inflated prices.

Drove into town for a concert at Montalvo, booked HRK based on reviews and menu. Couldn’t be happier. Excellent food, service and ambiance. Staff could not have been more helpful, friendly, professional and accommodating. What a nice start to our evening. Erin and I both agreed if we had driven to Saratoga for the meal alone it would have been a great evening. We will definitely be back!

Nice restaurant in a great location. Outside dining turned out to be fine even in November with the heaters. Entrées are very traditional, but well implemented. Appetizers are more creative. Good service. Really enjoyed the evening.

i celebrated my 40th birthday there and everything was fabulous! Truly memorable and great experience all around!! A must try if never been before!

Overall, our dinner was a great experience. We will be back.

Most of the food was great with the exception of the Halibut. It was served in what appeared to be a bowl of butter with some mush and a rubberized egg on top. The Halibut itself was great the rest of the dish wasn't. On the otherhand, the tuna tower was excellent as were the stuffed mushrooms.

Amazing!! Food was amazing. Staff was terrific. Sat at wine bar and loved the wine, food and service.

HRK has simply found the perfect formula for the ultimate dining experience. From the minute we walked in the doors we were greeted warmly by the entire staff and seated in the trendy, sparkling dining room that exudes warmth and Uber cool chic. The cocktails are as beautiful to see as they are to drink. There were so many innovative choices, we decided to order 6 dishes, just to try everything. Layers of flavor and gourmet innovation bring this jewel of a restaurant five stars on every level. I usually only reserve five stars for Nicks in Los Gatos, but HRK in Saratoga has also found a permanent home in the top restaurants in the Bay Area.

Great food and ambiance. Our friends were very impressed. Wine selection and cost was excellent.

Way too overcrowded. Fit many more people in the space than it could hold. Couldn't move without bumping into someone. Very big bill for a bad experience.

We really enjoyed coming to the Hero Ranch Kitchen for dinner. We thought the food was excellent and so was the service.
They have a larger outside area than an inside area for dining. They have lots of heaters etc. However, we
preferred inside. They have a smaller inside area which made it a bit noisier. A lot of people sat at the bar
and ate.
Their wines were very good and reasonably price, either by the bottle or glass. They make some of their own wines on their Ranch, which is in Almaden Valley.

Great meal!

All of the dishes were over the top great! The cocktails were yummy. Our server was outstanding, excellent job of handling different personalities.

We are so happy every time we come!
