    Join us for a special evening in our Wine Cellar for a six course tasting menu crafted by Executive Chef Chris Bonnivier paired with wines from Peter Michael Winery. Saturday, July 13th 6:30 -9:30pm $250 per person++ Sir Peter started Peter Michael Winery in 1983 with a singular vision: to make wine in the terroir-driven tradition of Burgundy and Bordeaux, under the California sun and in California soil. These wines are made from estate grown mountain vineyards. Production is limited and hand crafted. Morgan Melkonian from Peter Michael Winery will be our guest host for the evening and provide us history and information about the wines presented. Many of these wines will be available for retail purchase at the end of the evening.

    Join our professional fly fishing guides at the Hermitage Inn Trout Pond for an intro to fly fishing, which includes casting instruction, explanation of flies and then fishing in the pond stocked with brown, rainbow and brook trout. This clinic is perfect for the beginner to intermediate angler. Saturday, June 29th | 9:00 am - 11:30 am Adults and children ages 12 and over: $159 per person. Limited to 10 people. Reservations are required. Includes all gear to get you fly fishing: Thomas and Thomas fly rods with Nautilus reels, flies and nets.

    Outstanding food and impeccable service. The Hermitage is the best restaurant in the valley. We like to sit in the bar area as it has a more casual menu. We had Oysters Rockefeller, duck confit, and the burgers. All were amazing. We always look forward to treating ourselves to a nice meal at The Hermitage whenever we are in the area.

    Great Restaurant. We try to go to the Hermitage Inn every year we go to Mt. Snow. We prefer the tavern menu to the main dining room, but both are amazing. A little pricey for the area, but normal for New York dining.

    The shrimp cocktail (and sauce!) we had was the only thing that made it to our table worthy of praise. The kitchen said it would be "impossible" to offer a tuna tartare app even though they have tuna tartare in a smaller portion on the menu. When talked into beef tartare even though I was getting the steak, it was either seared (I hope) or several days old - came out gray, a little chewy and not very tasty. The oysters were dry and stuck to the shells and we were told were purchased shucked because it's too much work to shuck them in the kitchen. My filet was medium or medium-well when ordered medium rare and my wife's lamb was fatty and completely unimpressive. The wine was delicious, but way over priced (nearly $40/glass for a rather short pour). The entire time we were treated to a loud dining room with hip=hop playing too loudly on the stereo. I don't know what happened here, but there are pubs in Wilmington with better food... this place used to be soooo good. The service was off, too, but at least in a charming and sometimes funny way.

    Great meal at the Tavern. Our server, Alex, was great. The food and ambience was outstanding. The only reason why it’s 4 stars was because we ordered the skillet cookie dessert and it came back overdone and burnt. However, the did not charge us for the cookie. Thank you Alex for a great experience!

    Terrible experience. Drinks took about 30min food came out before we even got our drinks or bread. Food was mediocre. Not like it used to be and for the price not worth it . No one came back to check on us. If you want to charge this much you probably have to hire more people and amp your food. It used to be great

    The Inn is beautiful and everyone very friendly but it took 15 minutes for a server to come to the table. It then took 35 minutes to get our cocktails-our appetizer appeared before our drinks by 15 minutes. A large table nearby had about 3 servers rotating around them. A couple came in and no one waited on them for 15 minutes as well. 2 of our 4 drinks were comped which helped but very poor service. Food was excellent.
