The booth next to us was a bit loud but I can’t blame them for enjoying the experience.
We had reservations for 12:00 brunch and had invited friends that had never been. The Henry was out of their famous coffee cake and caramel rolls. The caramel Apple French Toast (one of our favorites) was tasteless. We waited over 1/2 hour for the Bloody Mary bar. The wait service was pleasant but the service was very slow to deliver a bagel...we asked 3 times before it was delivered. We really have liked The Henry, but will not return for
Been a few times! Place is cute and great views outside. My food is always good... Though never quite hot enough. I had the tortilla soup last time, great flavor but could use more substance/solids; more veggies/chicken/tortilla chips. It was mostly broth and avocado and so a little disappointing. Pastries and coffee are excellent, and servers and hosts have always been great. It's a tad louder than I like but I don't think that can be helped - it's a good sign anyway, and it helps take it down from snobby (not because it is, but the area can put that out there). Seems kid friendly, though I've not been with mine. Will recommend, and be back!
Excellent sot! Love the ambiance! Bloody Mary cart- very cool !
Overall fun restaurant to explore and have a drink at due to atmosphere. Waiter was pushing the wine list and did not seem pleased when he realized we were not ordering a $100 wine bottle or $200 worth of food. Next time I will not come for dinner when the service people are only looking to get nice tips. Having been in the food industry I understand this mindset but I do not appreciate being shown any less respect because of it. PS. the Kale truffle app and fig ginger cocktail are worth it!
The food and service were good, but the restaurant was extremely noisy. It was hard to carry on a conversation.
Loved the great service as well as the food. The menu was easy to make decisions. We enjoyed the short ribs and the Branzino. We invited friends from California to have dinner with us and they enjoyed the meal immensely. I personally wish there was another dinner choice on the menu and another desert available, but our friends enjoyed the meal and desert very much and was really taken with the interior and exterior of the restaurant. All in all, we had a great dinner and great experience as always when we have dinner at the Henry.
Soup was cold and service slow
We love the poke bowl and dropout coffee! Thanks for letting us chat and. It rushing us out at lunch.
Absolutely great venue for all types of occasions.
I was a very nice enjoyable place to enjoy a great dinner with a friend. Thank you it was a great experience
Beautiful experience wonderful food and service like the fact that they thoughtfully have complimentary valet parking well thought-out all around
This was my 2nd time to The Henry and loved it both times. Great food, great service and great friends. I highly recommend going, just make a reservation as this place fills up. I recommend the skirt steak or the short rib, both were delicious.
The Henry is always consistent with their food quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. Salmon Kale and Quinoa Salad was amazing. Though a $25 salad for lunch is a bit much.
Always great. Love the service, food and patio.
Great service fabulous food get the salmon it’s terrific!!!!!
Our waitress was great. The wait time wasn’t horrible if you didn’t have a reservation and they had a coffee bar to order food and a lounge area to eat if you didn’t want to wait.
We hadn't been to The Henry for quite a while, so it was a bit of a surprise as to how good the whole experience was. The food was terrific and the service was excellent. Our group had the grilled and chilled shrimp, and the tortilla soup for appetizers, the braised short rib, mushroom paella, the radiatori and the burger for entrees. There wasn't a single negative comment. The braised short rib was as good or better than any I've had in the Phoenix area. We'll definitely be back.
Always a pleasant experience....staff, seating, food, cool vibe and great menu. Love it...
A lovely experience as a first timer at this Fox concept restaurant.
The waiter was knowledgeable and very helpful and polite.
We had lovely choices and the food was of high quality.
It was a bit noisy for conversation, but we still enjoyed the whole atmosphere.
Will definitely go back again and can recommend The Henry to friends .
Just good old American cuisine, but so fresh and so good. All of us were thrilled with our dinner choices.
Jordan was an exceptional server, friendly professional and anticipated our needs, plus upsold is on the menu!
Great food and outstanding service....friendly and very responsive. Diverse food items ordered were all good.
One of my fav brunch spots. Always a great experience!
Had friends visiting from CA and wanted to share a delicious dining experience before they returned home. Had a wonderful brunch...all entrees were delicious. We especially enjoyed the Bloody Mary cart!
Little did I know my boyfriend would surprise me with a proposal at dessert and the evening couldn’t have been more perfect! The staff beyond friendly, food to perfection and very fun cocktail selection. Thank you Henry Staff for making it an unforgettable night!
It is a lovely location and lovely restaurant, great for friends get together , business or a casual date night, i would love to see more vegan options. Thank you!
Food was great! Ambiance was great. The cauliflower polenta is to die for!
Great food. Good service. Would go there again in a second.
Met my mom and sister for lunch. Service was terrible, even at 11:30 before the restaurant filled up. Server forgot to put in an app and it took 15 minutes to even get drinks to the table. Another server processed payment. I really hope it was this guy's first day; I'm happy to pay $20 for a salad (which was great, by the way) but the service should at least be halfway decent.
Everything was great. Just a little noisy.
This place is perfect for brunch or lunch! Make sure to make a reservation as it is always really busy!
I have been to The Henry plenty of times and it is normally excellent, but this was not the norm. The service was slow, but I discounted that due to being Easter, but they ran out of the wine I ordered and did not offer to do anything. Two of us ordered food; one well done and the other medium well and they came back raw and cold. The manager came over and apologized, but it still took another 15 minutes to get our food by that time our sides were cold. When the bill came, they had charged us twice for what we sent back. When I questioned the bill, the waitress said that is the way they had to enter it into the system and assured me it was not on the bill. When I explained I could do the math and it was double billed, she said we they were giving us free desserts and got the manager. He was nice, apologized and said the waitress had given me the wrong bill, that they had only charged me for two entrees, and had given us free dessert. The revised bill charged us for only the entrees we ordered, but no free dessert. By that time I got fed up, paid the bill and left. I will probably go back, because this was not the norm, but they need to figure out how to best make amends when the service and/or food comes up short.
Our first time here and we absolutely had a fabulous time! The food was so delicious, the waitstaff are friendly and attentive, even the noise level was low.
Easter “Lunch” on the patio. Fantastic!
Had some serious issues with our server/service. Not sure if this was due to being Easter weekend, but this was disappointing. This has now happened twice that the service was bad. The last time was dinner with friends and this time was brunch with family. We were there to celebrate a birthday. I will say however that the manager (sorry don't remember her name) was very kind and did adjust our bill.
The food was absolutely delicious , the service excellent and the overall experience, wonderful!
Very slow the past few times I've dined here and, unfortunately, although ingredients are of high quality, the preparation and creation of food were mediocre
Every year we visit Phoenix with our grandsons for Spring Training. As they’ve become adults, they’ve formed some pretty strong opinions on the restaurants we’ve regularly patronized. The Henry is one of their top three. For good reason: a wonderful atmosphere both indoors and especially outdoors, a menu that delivers what it promises, and a staff which is focused on making the experience special in every way.
Phenomenal service and amazing food!
