Logann was our server and she was very good. She recommended the Kale and Truffle Spread appetizer which was very good. We split the Brussels Sprout Ceasar Salad and both had the Short Rib dinner. Bother were excellent.
Logann spaced the servings perfectly and we had a great dinner.
The food and sefvice are always excellent, too bad valet wasn't on duty-the parking lot was full and overflowing. Noise is always loud but it's a great place to go.
We love this restaurant. If, however, you have a hearing deficit ask for a table outside or at least far from the kitchen. BTW, the coffee is good but barely hot; ask for a fresh pot.
Service was slow. We spilled a glass of water and had to alert to different servers to come and clean it. Had to track down the servers for the check as well as for returning our credit cards with the final bill.
Food was great as usual; service needs some attention.
The Henry if you had read my past posts was always my favorite restaurant in Phoenix. The perfect place for client meetings, gatherings with friends or just working from their work space. All that said, my last visits have not been great. It’s nice to use opentable and always have the seating you need but the food has been less than perfect and the service exceptionally slow even when the restaurant is not that busy. When the manager comes by your table to say your food will be coming soon you know they know there are problems.
Here is to hoping they get back on track! Miss the “old” Henry!!
Another excellent meal! Even with a packed dining room, our party of four had excellent service and everything was prepared exactly as desired.
Great experience as always. Was not wowed by the roasted chicken, yet it was not bad... just expects a little more, still, I’ll be back.
The atmosphere and food along with the service was awesome
We had a terrific meal. We were celebrating our anniversary and everything was perfect.
Took my girlfriend and friends to this gem, great place, great food,i would definitely recommend this place.
Our server was exceptional. He had great recommendations and very knowledgeable of the menu and appropriately attentive.
Server was good, but part of food was cold (chicken and gravy)
We had reservations and arrived on time but took skittle while to find a table set up? Very slow on service. Mgr? Not sure, but was aware of wait and took our drink orders and also apologized for cold food and having to wait, as did our server Anna
I had the turkey sandwich with kale slaw. It was great. My wife and her friend both had the sea bass. They both said the outer part was very salty. They had to remove it before eating the fish. I think they said the vegetables were too overdone as well. But everything else was great.
This restaurant is consistently outstanding on all levels. It is a wonderful choice for brekfast or brunch or lunch, especially on weekends. The wait staff are all young, most going to college and working part time. But the service is very good and the food is always good.
Great spot to entertain friends — especially outside if the weather cooperates
Great service. Great food. Will definitely be back.
Very nice place. The service was superb and the food good. Need to go back and try other things that we didn't get a chance to try.
Service was outstanding, and the food was everything I hoped it would be. Great experience overall.
Love the food and ambiance. Hostess wasn’t super friendly and kept seating other parties before ya because our reserved table was still occupied. Finally after our third request they sat us in the next available table. We only had to wait about 15 minutes past our reservation time so not a huge deal and other than that it was great as usual.
When I made the reservation for 6 people at 1230, it asked me about the occasion, I said we were celebrating a milestone bday. We were seated promptly, but waited quite a while for our server to take drink orders. We had Mimosas, which I liked, my husband thought it was too bitter, so he ordered a Strawberry spritzer. When he brought the drinks, we told him we were ready to order, we didn’t want to wait for him to come back. After waiting another 30 minutes, he came back to the table and asked us to repeat our order, just for “his notes”. I asked him if he ever put our order in, he said yes, but once he had everyone repeat the order, he said he would expedite it, so obviously he never turned it in. We waited another 25 minutes for the food, which was warm, but definitely not hot. We decided not to say anything, we didn’t want to wait any longer, the fruit flies were everywhere, and really annoying, he came back to clear the table and give us our check. I am not sure why you ask if this is a special occasion when I book the reservation, if you don’t intend on acknowledging it. Needless to say, my family won’t be back, the experience was not good.
Very friendly staff; food is good; ambiance is nice; friendly hostess, friendly server, staff attitude is excellent!
Fantastic meal. Really enjoyed the restaurant week offerings and the ambiance. Thank you.
Group of 4 - we had a great time. Happened to be restaurant week and we loved the selection!
The happy hour on the patio was fabulous! We enjoyed sitting next to the fireplace.
Excellent food and service but a little more noisy than we would prefer. To be fair, we were there on Saturday evening so, of course the bar is more busy and noisy and the restaurant tables are right next to the bar hence the noise level. The food made any noise discomfort totally worth it. We will definitely return on a week night.
My first time at The Henry and it was incredible. The food, service and ambiance was perfect. I cannot wait to return.
Now this is a restaurant that understands customer service! The manager came over to apologize that they’d run out of a dessert item and to say the chef would like to send me another choice free of charge. When I declined due to dietary choices she upped her service by writing a note on her business card giving me the same dessert free of charge on my next visit. When my dining companions explained I wasn’t a local she upped the service further by referring me to my cities location and telling me to ask for Emma who would “take very good care of me” and offer me that same dessert free of charge. Well! It’s been decades and countless restaurants since I’ve experience this level of service. Customer for life. Highly recommended. Delicious food, great drinks and the best corn chips I’ve had outside of one house in SoCal. That’s saying a lot - trust me. I’ll be back with friends. Thank you for your care. Appreciated.
We went for AZ Restaurant Week. The menu had excellent options. The chicken tortilla soup was very flavorful. The presentation of the king crab toast was inviting. The citrus paired well with the crab. The short rib was tender and delicious. The sea bass was cooked to perfection. The bread pudding was warm and comforting. The chocolate peanut butter molten cake was gooey in the center and was complemented by the banana gelato. What a wonderful meal!
really good food and great restaurant week menu! Loved the atmosphere and the unique menu -
Best breakfast restaurant ever!!! James was our server and has been our server before. He is wonderful and professional. This is why we keep coming back. You offer great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you!!!!
Server was excellent!
Our first visit to The Henry was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was accommodating to allergies. Open table gave the option to add an occasion to our reservation where I could add “anniversary”. The night ended with complimentary champagne for our celebration!
We tried this place for restaurant week and we were not disappointed. It was very yummy and a great value. The $44 included a glass of wine. We had cocktails before and let me tell you the Devils in the Details and the Drunken Panda were the Stars, yummy indeed. Everyone love their choices from the R/W menu. Dessert was delayed, but the waitress and the manager came over and apologized and kept us informed as to why. They were worth the wait, peanut butter molten cake was decadent, shortcake was fresh. We will be back for sure!
Five diners, all enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant but thought the food was not at the level it should be. Crab toast appetizer was excellent and the deserts as well, but 3 different entree’s were disappointing all being dry and over-cooked. Service was friendly and attentive.
Excellent food, great service. Restaurant was very cold.
A little too noisy, but the food and service made up for it. Outstanding dinner!!! I’d go back in a heartbeat. But you absolutely need to make a reservation!!!
We love coming to The Henry, especially before the symphony. We have had the best servers, really friendly and conscientious. My only problem is the noise level: music, high open ceilings just make it difficult to hear each other at our table.
Would’ve been a five if we did not have to wait over one hour after placing the order for a lunch made of salads
Celebrated our anniversary. The Henry never disappoints. Love everything about it. Thank you!
