There were 3 of us celebrating birthdays. My salmon was excellent. They had OT stickers and bushel sprouts. They didn’t like them. Our servers brought us champagne to celebrate and 3 desserts after dinner. We were charged for them even though we didn’t order them. But we got 10. Or $20. Off the bill for celebration. Sorry we won’t be back
What an amazing restaurant. Everything from the service, to the food, to the ambiance is amazing. The honey chicken sandwich is a must and so are some of the drinks.
The servers are truly kind and amazing. Kept following up to make sure the meal is great. They really make you have a good time here. An easy 5 stars. I’d give 6 if possible
The food and service is always wonderful here, but there is some concern about the kitchen staff wearing masks. Some had them around their chin, most had them lightly over the mouth but not the nose. The waitress couldn’t tell us what their policy is. It was very confusing. Please just pick one- don’t wear them or wear them correctly if this your policy. Just an opinion.
Not our first trip to The Henry. However, we were extremely disappointed this time with my meal in particular. I LOVE their chicken avocado salad and of course I ordered that. The salad tasted off (like some of the lettuce was dirty or just old) and the avocado chunks were literally hard as rocks. I did tell our waitress who was very apologetic and comped a dessert. However, just literally left a bad taste and not sure I will try again.
Ellie, our server, was fantastic. She knew the menu, make excellent recommendations, great personality and attentive. Food was delicious, especially the braised short ribs and Korean skirt steak.
The service was top notch. The ambiance is very eclectic and welcoming. Because it was so busy the noise was a little distracting. Overall I’d go again.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and we were treated to some extra perks once they heard we were celebrating our anniversary. Food was delicious. Will definitely be coming here again.
My expectations were not met. The food was very sugary. Everything had sugar added where it didn’t need to be added. I would order the guacamole and espresso martini again. Disappointing experience amongst other great dining experiences we had in Scottsdale.
Everything was amazing! Only thing was it was a little hard to hear across the table because it was a little loud. But totally worth that for sure. AMAZING short ribs!!! OMG! And superb service. 👍
The Seabass was a little over cooked and dry but was still delicious. It is definitely loud and at times hard to have a conversation — the ambience is very nice.
Delicious brunch, the coffee was amazing and nice courtyard even in the heat. Will definitely return.
The coffee and everything we ate was fantastic and the service was even better. 😊
Outstanding customer service, menu selection, food and drink! Haven’t been in since pre-pandemic and the experience was even better than remembered. Of the 6 of us, 2 were there for the first time and they were raving about it. Well done!
Great place to go for brunch. Service was great!!
The food and drink were very good, however the service was very slow and it was extremely loud. The menu was fairly limited as well. In addition I mentioned it was a birthday celebration in my reservation, but it was not mentioned.
This is the first time back since “covid” I used to go there quite often. The food was way over salted (including the pastry i received for my birthday). When I go next I will have to mention “easy on the salt”. It’s still a wonderful place and I recommend.
Everything about the Henry was great! We walked in and god greeted very well, they have a really nice coffee spot at the entrance with pastries! I got a caramel iced coffee and it was really good, we sat outside because it was booked inside and it was still great! The food was 10/10 and so were the sprites lol definitely going back for more!!
It became a bit unbearable sitting outside. Umbrella not over our table and not near the misters. A bit disappointing after making a reservation well in advance. Overall, though, still a great place to meet friends to eat. Will be back, but will wait to reserve an indoor table.
The service needs improvement. The wait time to get our food is fairly long and at both times of the visit there were items missing from the initial order.
First impression of The Henry- cool, hip decor. Love the ambiance for good drinks and fun social gathering/date.
We had a reservation but it took about 20 minutes to be seated- it was very busy. Our servers was very attentive. Food and drinks were brought out fairly quickly.
As for appetizers, we ordered the beef potstickers and parmesan fries. Main entrees included the fish tacos, ahi tuna, and the roasted lemon honey chicken. The beef potstickers were delicious, do not skip out on these. Otherwise, everything else was okay. Cocktails were good.
Overall, I would return for drinks and some appetizers but not necessarily for the food.
The food was AMAZING! It was my birthday and every employee we interacted with wished me a Happy Birthday. Great experience. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food. Amazing service. But the noise level is too high
First time to the Henry and loved it, we’ll be back. Our waitress was great, loved the ambience and the food was reasonably priced. The only negative at all was my sea bass was slightly on the small portion size but my wife’s grain bowl was extra large so it made up for it. Get the bread appetizer, it’s worth it.
Our server was very nice and helpful we just didn't see her very often. It took too long to be seen after being seated, too long inbetween drink order and food order and a long time for food to come out. I don't think it was her fault. They are probably short staffed like every other place and it was a very busy lunch for the middle of July.
The service was fast and food was delicious. I will definitely be back again!
Server was very helpful and attentive, but not burdensome.
Food was prepared as described in the menu and was delicious.
This is why we frequently dine at The Henry.
Server very nice. I didn’t really like the Vietnamese Salad. Too much dressing and too spicy.
Overall we had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious. We shared the truffle fries and bread with butter, which were good for what they were. The fries were delicious but for $14 it felt like a small portion, or maybe I just haven't eaten out in a while.
My sister had the lemon honey chicken, which she said was cooked perfectly and was actually a really generous portion. Her boyfriend ordered the burger and had trouble finishing it , so again a generous portion and also delicious. I tried the braised short rib and loved it! It was perfectly tender and just delicious. I did add some salt to it because I like to really taste salt, so that's on me, but I really enjoyed it. Finally, mom ordered the bolognese. This one wasn't really a favorite. It was nice, but it just kind of missed the mark. The pasta was a bit too thick and ours was still on the tough side of al dente. Still edible but pushing a little underdone. The meat sauce itself was delicious and wonderfully seasoned.
For dessert we tried the flourless brownie, lemon cheesecake and caramel gelato. All were huge hits. If you go for nothing else, get a cocktail and the desserts because they are all to die for!
Our server was very nice and professional. She did start to leave for long periods of time when the restaurant started to fill up, and we started to feel a bit unattended. But when she was able to check in with us she was incredible.
Anniversary. But somehow the kitchen lost our ticket and it took a while to get our food. But the manager came and explained and apologized. Our waitress tried to give us a free dessert but we were too full.
Always on our list for dining when in PHX area. This visit was not quite as others we had enjoyed on previous occasions, but still good. Service was friendly and our table was ready at the time we reserved for (9:45am Sunday brunch). Ordered a few share apps (one was not available), my Breakfast Burrito Bowl entree was just so-so. Coffee was tasty but not super hot. Sorry they also didn’t have any donuts (they are always a big treat)! Still a great go-to for any occasion, this visit just didn’t seem to have the usual “zest” we enjoy.
Great food and service!
There is ONLY one HENRY. If you know it you KNOW. If you don't you are missing IT!
Wonderful food. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our evening.
Food and atmosphere is always great at the Henry!
Sat outside so can’t speak for noise level inside. It was only thing available when I made reservation, and when we got there they said it would have been an hour wait to get an inside table. It got a bit warm, as it does during July in Phoenix, but misters and fans made it bearable.
Wife and I split a salad and ordered the skirt steak and ahi tuna entrees with side of Brussels sprouts. Food came out promptly. All very flavorful and well prepared.
Croissant bread pudding was OK (is there such thing as bad bread pudding?) but if it hadn’t said croissant in the description we wouldn’t have know the bread was anything out of the ordinary for the dish.
Staff was attentive and friendly. Enjoyable experience.
The food and service were both outstanding!!! It was a bit noisier than I expected.
