I've dined at The Henry many times and it has increasingly become subpar. This last visit, they attempted to sit us at an outdoor table only partially in the shade. It was 110 degree outside! There was no attempt to move the umbrella and it was as if we were putting them out even mentioning that it was not possible to have a table sitting in the scorching sun. Grant you there were several other people who wanted tables so you can see where the laissez-faire attitude comes from. But that said, I've seen restaurants lose their patronage when they start treating them with apathy. The good news, we left and went to a nearby restaurant where there was excellent customer service and great food.

We had a really bad experience with this restaurant. We were sat outside which is something we hadn't planned on. As soon as we sat down my husband was bit by mosquitos as we were right next to the vegetation on the wall and the misters were on - not a great idea. We asked to be moved inside and were seated at the 'bar tables' which were tiny round tables that were about a foot from the other two tables so we are very uncomfortable. We waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came by to see if we'd been helped. The food was fine but some was not hot so we asked to get it heated up. It arrived after we were finished with our meal. So very disappointed with this restaurant as it had been recommended. We won't go there again.

Our first visit to The Henry wasn’t great but after leaving a negative review they reached out right away to make it right and truly went above and beyond. We felt like the last time must have just been an off day so we decided to give them another shot for our daughters’ birthday celebration. Unfortunately, we soon realized that “make it right” experience was probably the exception not the rule. This time around the service was much like the first, slow and disjointed from the start. Despite being seated right away dinner stretched to hours. Our waiter seemed more attentive to tables ordering alcohol which made us feel a bit overlooked as a family. Maybe this place just isn’t ideal for family celebrations but it was a special request from my girls especially for the desserts. By the time dessert finally arrived, the momentum of the evening was gone. Everything came so late that no one was really interested anymore which was disappointing considering it was the main reason they chose The Henry for their birthday. It took over 30 minutes just to get the check after we were clearly ready to leave. My family ended up waiting in the car while my husband stayed behind at the table waiting for the check. We truly appreciated the effort last time to make up after our first visit but this second experience showed us that level of care isn’t typical. The food is good but the service and pace just don’t match the standard you’d expect from a restaurant in this price range

It’s a happening place. My friend an inset at the bar for happy hour and dinner. We had the most cheerful energetic bartender. She was so attentive and gave us great service. Food was delicious. We ate chips and guacamole along with the potstickers. They melted in my mouth….so delicious. Then we split a hamburger. Their patio is great too. Thank goodness they have misters.

My brother in-law and I had appetizers for lunch to eat light because he had dinner plans with a friend that night for dinner at Zinburger Biltmore. We had the chilled grilled shrimp, short rib pot stickers, crab cake, and the truffled brie toast. All of them were wonderful and hit the spot. Leanna our server, was right on with her service. Definitely have to do that again!

After being seated, drinks and appetizers ordered, only one drink came, and NO water or server stopping by the table. We waited 20 plus minutes, then asked the hostess if she could send over our server. We waited about 7-8 more minutes, and appetizers and drinks came (still NO water), and I was able to finally order a glass of wine. I needed it. The server was nice enough, but the overall experience had a VERY weak start. The food was very good, but by the time it finally came, we were all exhausted at waiting for everything. It was also a 4:45 reservation, albeit it was Father’s Day, but initially they weren’t that busy. All the nearby tables seemed to have attentive service, so I guess it was just one of those days.
