It was great! Wait staff was great. Great vibe and food was delicious. Had the bowl and added a over easy egg... yum! She had the breakfast sandwich... yum as well. The best was getting a table last minute on open table... excellenté!
My favorite restaurant! Great food, atmosphere and staff!
The food and drinks were amazing. I would recommend the truffle fries and Parker house rolls.
Great lunch place
Service was amazing! They had the restaurant cutely decorated for Valentine’s Day and handed roses out at the end of the meal.
They had a fixed menu which is understandable. Mushroom soup for course one was delicious. Course two... I was a little disappointed-not one thing on the menu for course two made me say “wow that sounds sooo good I’m going with this.” I ended up getting the braised short rib which was ok.
All in all great experience and we are looking forward to coming back when we have the entire menu to choose from.
We had an enjoyable experience on Valentine’s Day. The service, special menu, wine pairing and red rose were exceptional attributes.
Some menu items were special for the occasion, and were so delicious. The morel and shitake mushroom soup was flavorful and topped with cream fraiche. The bone in lamb chops with chimichurri sauce were grilled to perfection, and the warm croissant bread budding was decadent.
We highly recommend this restaurant!!
Have to come here any time we are in Phoenix. Love, love The Henry!
My husband and I were dining at The Henry for Valentine’s Day. We are so happy we chose to eat here! We love coming here! The food is always wonderful! We enjoyed the prefix menu for Valentine’s Day and the wine selection was great! Our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The hostess staff were also friendly and attentive. They were not standing around looking at their phones or talking and not attending to customers which was good to see! Sadly you see that in some restaurants today. We got seated within fifteen minutes. In our past experiences, it’s better to book a reservation especially on Valentine’s Day to avoid a very long wait (an hour or more)! We used the Open Table app which is very convenient than doing it the old school way (calling by phone)! This has been one of the best Fox restaurants we’ve been too and are very happy to see that it is still doing well! A lot of restaurants are struggling to remain open and just going out of business. We also love their kids menu-our kids have eaten here too! (This is a kid friendly place too)
We made reservations based on recommendations. Food tasted good it was just the way they sat us. For Valentine’s it should’ve been more romantic. Other patrons seated next to us (2 feet away) were either FaceTiming or complaining.
We had to wait on our first drink long after the glasses were presented.
I rarely complain but this restaurant missed its mark
With service and trying to accommodate too many people.
We went there on Valentines Day. The food was very good, the service excellent, which was impressive on such a busy night. The atmosphere was a nice combination of nice and casual and energetic but not too loud. The waiter took good care of us, and importantly, did not make us feel rushed. In fact she gave us all the time we wanted. It was expensive because of the fix price menu for this holiday, but we knew that going in and it was ok with us.
Great first visit! Will definitely be back again. The sandwiches weren’t that impressive but excited to go back to try out the entrees.
Everyone visiting the Phoenix area should eat at The Henry.
The food was great but there was a 15 min wait after my reservation. Then the waiter was more interested in speaking to the bartender then bringing us our check. We had to stop two random waiters for another drink and to place our order. This is not a good place to go on a date.
I just always enjoy dining here.
Upon arrival the parking was an issue. In fact I was told by the first attendee that there was no room and I’d have to leave. My two guest were out of the car and told him we had a reservation at 12:30. (We were a few minutes early.) A second attendee came to me and said the lot was full. Again I expressed the fact we had a reservation for lunch. He gave me a ticket and said he’d take care of my car. Once inside we waited 20-25 minutes for a table. After being seated the service was prompt and attentive. When we left I thanked several times the gentleman who accommodated my car for parking. He should be commended for his customer service.
I love The Henry, its just great space, wonderful environment, but really noisy to someone that has a hearing problem, and that is me. I struggled to hear my guest that was seated right across from me. I should have asked for a quiet are for seating. I do wear hearing aids that cost me over $5,000, but I swear, I just struggled trying to hear. I won't come back and sit inside, as the weather gets a bit warmer, I will come and sit outside. And the Chicken Chop salad was on a scale from 1 to 10, a 6, nothing to write home about, but then again, I wasn't there for the Chicken Chop salad; it was more of a formality.
Great food and service, for the most part. Took a long time to get our waiter's attention for the check but otherwise, everything was wonderful!
Food was amazing as always!
My husband and I recently went to The Henry to celebrate my birthday. It was our first time there. Everything was fabulous. The kitchen was pretty slow but our server noticed it without us saying anything and the manager sent us some complimentary bubble to make up for it. We were enjoying the night and wouldn't have complained but it was nice they were attentive. The food was phenomenal and we will definitely be returning!
Old friends that we had not seen in a number of years came to town. We chose the Henry because of my previous good experience there. It was Sunday night and we were seated in corner booth which was perfect so we could talk and catch-up. Our waiter was very attentive – not overly so. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. Our two visitors were impressed with the food and ambience.
Great food nice vibe
Met friends here for a Saturday brunch. Really good food and service and lots of atmosphere. I tried the chicken fried chicken, which was great! Others had delicious salads. We arrived early for our reservation and the hostess was nice enough to seat us at a comfortable booth, and the waiter was very accommodating, with no pressure to order, while we waited for our guests, even though the place was crazy busy with people waiting for tables..Brunch was topped off with a complimentary birthday dessert. We chose the bread pudding which was fantastic!
Love this place! Make a reservation.
Perfect service and food!
Jordan was exceptional as a sever.
Late to be seated but our server was amazing!!
Excellent dinner and cocktails as always
Great food. Fun place! A definite must-do in Phoenix!
A good celebratory lunch with excellent service. Thank you!
We always enjoy going to The Henry. The food is very delicious and well presented, and the servers are very polite and very knowledgeable. On February 3 we met a couple that live in Colorado and whom we see just once a year when they winter in Mesa. We had a great time eating and talking.. We were there for lunch.
As always, wonderful.
I have always wanted to go to Henry’s and I am so glad I finally did it was an incredible ambience and the food was sensational the price was right to you deserve it go to Henry’s
Excellent place for Sunday brunch. Great choice of menu items, unique and delicious. Love the bloody mary cart. Service is always great. A very upbeat and lively location.
Waited half an hour to be seated even with a reservation. They were out of their famous rolls and it was only 7:45. Service was slow and unresponsive to small requests such as another side of ranch dressing
Our waiter went above and beyond
Our server was fabulous! Thank you!!!
High energy restaurant with limited but good menu.
the noise level was our only complaint.
Hard to have a conversation. Some noise
abatement would be a good idea.
We arrived early and they sat us outside on a beautiful evening under the heaters with blankets. Service was very attentive but it felt like we waited a long time between servings and they served a few dishes by mistake. The food itself was thoughtful, creative and very tasty. Desserts were beyond good. We decided to sit by the fire on the way out. A great evening.
Great food and excellent services. I will be back for sure.
Huge and Beautiful space and very attentive servers
