The Henry - Dallas
On an Easter Sunday, it was extremely busy. I made a reservation, but the 3 to 4 people at the front counter didn't seem to communicate with each other. When I walked in, I checked in with one of them. Then, another person came over to ask if I had been helped, and I said "yes" and I gave them my name. After a few minutes, a different person came up to me and asked if I had been helped. Again, I replied "yes, I was asked to wait". That was a little frustrating, but I am sure they were busy. Next time I will be more aggressive with my check in. Each person at the front was nice, and I could tell they were slammed, and they were doing their best to get people seated. The servers were all nice, and gave great suggestions.
It was our first visit and we did an Easter Brunch with 12 of us. Our server Matthew was beyond wonderful, followed by a great menu and very tasty food. We will definitely be dining at The Henry again and hope to enjoy their glorious patio the next time.
The ‘Henry’ is a great new addition to Dallas, it’s amazing!! The food, service and ambiance was incredible!! Can’t wait to go back soon!!
I was expecting more. There lacking on the service front.
The artichoke/mushroom toast was to die for! Excellent cocktail selection as well. Definitely will be back!
The Henry was simple amazing! The food was great and our server was AWESOME. Thanks Rob! The best thing to order is the pretzels with Fondue. Can’t wait to go back soon.
The food at The Henry was excellent! This was our second trip. On both visits we had the truffle fries and pot stickers I would recommend these as a must to everyone! The wait staff is very attentive. The waiter we had on our first visit actually remembered us. The second visit was just as memorable!
I have been looking forward to dining at the Henry. I like their other restaurants-True Foods and Flower Child. Four of us were dining and we all had a different dish. The consensus by all was the food was excellent. We shared the bread pudding and it was incredible!
We ordered bloody Mary’s and mimosas. The mimosas came out right away but the bloody marys arrived after the email was half over. We had hoped to sit outside but that searing is first come, first serve so keep this in mind.
Not nearly enough rest room facilities for a restaurant that size.
Our first visit to the recently opening of The Henry. Beautiful restaurant with outdoor dining as well. Menu is more of a high end version of True Food. We went early (6:15 p.m.) on Good Friday; it was crowded! Our server was great; informative and attentive. The noise level was extremely loud; we noticed upon leaving it would be less quiet near coffee bar area or outside. We’d return however maybe on an earlier week night or try other seating area.
Awesome service, creative drinks, and delicious food! Must make a reservation during lunch time on a Friday to be seated.
My wife and her bridesmaids had a wonderful bridal party.
After having a reservation we were sat 20 minutes later. It took another 25 minutes to get our first drink. We weren’t given water until we asked with it with the food. The food was good, but for what you’re paying for food and drink and the way you’re treated, I won’t be recommending this spot to anyone. It’s such a shame because I was excited for weeks to try it out and finally get a reservation!
The Henry definitely lived up to the hype! The decor and ambiance were great, though I was shocked to see how tiny the bar was. The food was AMAZING though, I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!
The overall experience was very positive!!! Our Server, a young man named CHANCE , was exceptionally competent and cordial.
Along with the "Hip" ambiance and good food, we had a great experience. Thanks
Fun place. Get the mushroom tacos; they're wonderful!
Had an amazing server. He was so helpful and nice. The food and drinks were amazing. Definitely will be back!
If you're into a rude hostesses and mediocre service on your birthday , come here otherwise I'd go somewhere else on your special day.
Food and atmosphere were amazing here! The avocado toast and heirloom carrot salad were both items I'd recommend. And only place in Dallas I've seen that serves Veuve by the glass!
Love this new restaurant. The food and atmosphere was delightful. We were there for Sunday brunch. the wait staff was pleasantly positive, informative and attentive. Get the Carmel Roll....it's deliciously light and tasty. We'll be going back to try the lunch and dinner offerings.
Great evening at The Henry, great service, atmosphere and fabulously delicious food!
I would have given 4-5 stars across the board as it started off great but our server asked if we wanted dessert whilst we were still eating our mains and brought the check whilst we were still eating. Not very good at all. Just because we said no to dessert......as we were still eating, who knows maybe we may have wanted a coffee afterwards but all she did was make us want to leave. Such a shame.... other than that, great place and. We would revisit and hope for better service second time round!
The hostess was amazing though. Thank you.
Such a fun area and great service! Really enjoyed the food!
Another great client lunch at The Henry! Food was outstanding, service was great, it was a wonderful lunch- Will definitely be back
My boyfriend and I went for dinner (9:00pm reservations) and really enjoyed the food. We were working late and needed some coffee and surprisingly they have really good coffee. We will definitely be back.
Love this place! The food is outstanding and so many fantastic options. Fresh and healthful options. Ambience and decor is wonderful.
Glad to see the Henry in Dallas as I had fallen in love with the other fox restaurant group offerings in Scottsdale. As always a fantastic dining experience from the food to the very well trained staff.
Fabulous new restaurant in Dallas. The food is delicious and creative. The service is outstanding and personable, while the ambiance and decor are fun. The Henry definitely has the buzz, but is also a place where you can actually have a conversation. I highly recommend!!
Booth was extremely hot so couldn’t enjoy the food. Asked to turn down air which I think happened but booth never cooled.
Great food. Wish they had a mimosa cart on the weekends in addition to the Bloody Mary cart
Food was good, service was ok. Still some kinks to work out.
Location + decor were fantastic. Hand crafted spirit free cocktails were a major plus. Service improvements better quotes on time for a table (outside) and checking in with people waiting and time to service and more frequent checkin and water fills once seated. Good food. Great location.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing!!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious!!! There was no
Appetizer or entree that was not on point.
This was my first visit to The Henry but definitely won’t be my last. I can’t wait to go back! The cuisine was delicious with ample portions and very reasonably priced. Our waiter was a bit quirky and laid back, but he immediately made us feel welcome. He was very informative and attentive and even offered us a sample of their delish kale salad and a green tea/coffee concoction. The upstairs open air bar is killer and outdoor seating plentiful to take advantage of the great spring weather. The ambiance is very warm and inviting, too. It’s a bit noisy at peak dining times but not so loud as to make carrying on a conversation difficult. A definite thumbs up!!!
Great menu, really nice variety. Restaurant is beautiful. Drinks great.
A great spot to dine before the theater. Delicious, innovative choices, plus several options for my vegan dining companion. Great ambiance. A terrific addition to the arts district dining scene.
Great Time! Our table was ready which is unusual for a larger party at premium time. Greeter was so nice. Excellent waiter, food delicious! Will definitely go back!👍
The food at The Henry is outstanding! Absolutely delicious!!! Can't wait to go back.
Great food and atmosphere
